The OBC scholarships are funded by the central/state government and other private organizations of India. The primary motive of the OBC scholarships is to provide financial support to deserving applicants who are unable to compensate for their education. National Fellowship for OBC
The National fellowship for OBC was initiated by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, government of India, to financially support OBC category students who have already passed their postgraduate exams and want to pursue their higher studies. The JRF students can avail of this scholarship for 2 years, and they can even continue as SRF for the next 3 years if there is progress in their research work. Additionally, there is a reservation of 3% for PWD students. To apply for this OBC scholarship, students should register for full-time M.Phil./PhD programmes in Science, Humanities, Social Science, or Engineering & Technology from UGC recognized colleges/institutions. The worthy candidates can receive additional benefits such as HRA, medical leaves, and a scholarship stipend. The candidates who satisfy the OBC scholarship 2022 requirements and get qualified for the scheme can get upto INR 35,000 per month.

Central Sector Scheme of National Overseas
The Central Sector Scheme of National Overseas is a scholarship scheme for candidates belonging to the OBC category. This scheme applies to those candidates who have enrolled in a foreign institute or are willing to pursue higher education overseas in Engineering, Management, Agriculture Science and Medicine. The applicants selected for the OBC scholarship will be rewarded with USD 15,400.

ONGC Scholarship
ONGC scholarships are promoted by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation(ONGC) Foundation as a part of their corporate social responsibility toward society. Indian citizens belonging to the SC/ ST, OBC and weaker sections of the society pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees can apply for this ST SC OBC scholarship. To be accepted for this OBC scholarship, the applicants should be studying in their first year of BE, MBBS, MBA or Masters in Geology/Geophysics. The selected candidates can be rewarded upto INR 48,000 per annum.

OBC Pre-Matric Scholarship
The OBC pre-matric scholarships were initiated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, government of India and are available to OBC category students. The OBC scholarship 2022 is to provide monetary funds to the OBC category students and encourage them to pursue quality education. Students studying in classes 1 to 10 can apply for this scholarship scheme. The selected applicants can be rewarded with a full OBC scholarship of INR 1,000 per month.

Post-Matric OBC Scholarship
Post-matric OBC scholarships are initiated by the state government of India and union territories. The OBC scholarship enables meritorious candidates to complete their education and aids them with the required monetary assistance. The scholarship for the OBC category can be availed by the deserving students who are domiciles of whichever state they belong. The scholarship scheme covers the educational expenses of qualified candidates and rewards them with a maximum OBC scholarship amount of INR 750.

Merit Scholarships for OBC
The Merit scholarships for OBC were initiated by the Department of the welfare of SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minorities, Delhi. Under the SC OBC scholarship, students from classes 6th to 12th and those studying in colleges or technical institutes are offered scholarships based on merit. The candidates who are accepted for the OBC scholarship must have an annual family income of INR 2,00,000 and should have a score of 60% in class 12th board examinations. The candidates pursuing their academic careers in technical courses can get upto INR 1,620 per month. Other OBC students can get upto INR 4,500 per annum upon selection. Suitable applicants can also be rewarded with a day scholar allowance, hostellers allowance, and other benefits.

Step 2: The applicants must click on "Register Here" to create a new profile for new users.
Step 3: Next, a confirmation email link will be sent to the registered email ID of the applicants, and they should click on the link to confirm the registration.
Step 4: The candidate must enter the login credentials provided and enter valid details in the OBC scholarship 2022 application form.
Step 6: Next, attach the scanned copies of all the required documents in the prescribed formats.
Step 7: Lastly, after entering the valid information, the candidate can submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
