NEET passing marks 2023 are the minimum marks or percentage required by the candidates to clear the examination. Generally, candidates are expected to have cut-off marks of 50% for the general category, 45% for the PH category, and 40% for SC/ST/OBC categories.

NEET Passing Marks 2023

NEET 2023 passing marks for the general category are 720-138, while the passing marks for OBC/SC/S categories are 137-108. And the passing marks for the General - Physically Handicapped category is 137 - 122. Though the cut-off percentile is fixed, the marks are subject to change yearly.

Based on the previous year's trends, passing marks for the NEET exam generally range between 150 and 200 out of 720. It is advised that the candidate try to score above this mark range; if not, the score in the mentioned range would not be good enough to be placed in a seat in a good medical institution or college. In addition, candidates should remember that the cut-off requirement differs from one institution to another.
