Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya was established in the year 1936 to accomplish the dream of Bhagat Phool Singh Ji and the university is spread over an area of 500 acres. It is the first college to have UGC Centre for Indic-Asian Studies. It has signed MOU with various foreign Universities.

The university has been set up with a dream. The dream is to make something that women gain equal status in society through the pursuit of knowledge and education. BA/ B.Sc	Candidate should have completed 10+ 2 with 50% marks in aggregate
M.Tech	Candidate should have completed B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent degree with 50% marks as aggregate in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology
BAMS	The candidate must have passed 10+2 class with at least 33% marks in each subject i.e. English, PCB and 50% marks in aggregate
B.Ed	Candidate should have done Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
D.Ed	Candidates should have completed 10+2 with an aggregate of 50% and English as an optional subject.
/BBA LLB	Candidate should have completed 10+2 with 50% marks
B.Pharmacy	Candidate should have done 10+2 with 45% marks (40% for reserved category) with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and any one of Mathematics, Biology.
