AP PGECET Eligibility

B.Pharma from a recognized university with minimum 55% (50% for reserved categories); B.E/B.Tech with minimum 50% (45% for reserved categories)
Andhra Pradesh domicile certificate.

Any candidate aspiring to attempt this exam must fulfill the minimum AP PGECET eligibility criteria prescribed by the exam authority. The framed eligibility contains aspects such as age limit, educational qualification, and nationality. If a candidate has fulfilled the eligibility then he or she can read the AP PGECET 2019 Syllabus to score well in the exam. 

AP PGECET Eligibility

  • Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed BE/ B.Tech in the relevant stream with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ ST category candidates from a recognized Institute or University.

  • Age Limit: The candidates have attained a minimum of 21 years of age.

  • Nationality: The candidates should be a citizen of India.

  • Final Year: The candidates who are pursuing their final year degree and going to appear for the final semester are also eligible to apply.

  • GATE Score: The candidates are requested not to appear for AP PGECET 2019 if they have a valid GATE score.

 40% in the qualifying exam (Reserved Category)

Age Limit

21 Years


Note: Candidates must understand that if the applicants do not fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria the Application Form will be rejected.

AP PGECET 2017 eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

  • Candidates should have Indian Nationality.

  • Candidates must have the Andhra Pradesh domicile certificate. Candidates must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements.

  • The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination as B.Pharma from the recognized University with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST category candidates).

  • Candidates who have appeared for GATE are not eligible to appear for this exam.

  • Applicant must be the Indian citizen.

  • The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination as B.E./B.Tech from the recognized University with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category candidates).

  • No, you are not eligible to write the AP PGECEAT exam.
  • The candidates who have appeared for GATE need not appear for the AP PGECET exam as they will be admitted based on their GATE scores.
