CBIT Hyderabad Admission 2024

CBIT Hyderabad is structured around several schools of study and offers degree programs. Students must register and appear for the entrance exams required for admission into the respective courses offered by CBIT, Hyderabad.

CBIT Hyderabad offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, etc. with various options in specializations. Eligibility criteria for the various courses offered are given below:

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

For a candidate to be eligible for B.Tech in CBIT Hyderabad, it is required for him/her to score a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 in the subjects PCM, from a recognised institute. 70% of seats are filled under the convener's quota based on the above criteria and EAMCET score. 

The rest 30% of seats are B-category (Management Quota) and provide CBIT admission through JEE main, EAMCET and IPE or equivalent.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

For a candidate to be eligible for B.Tech at CBIT Hyderabad, Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology from Osmania University in the same discipline, or an AMIE/AMIETE or other similar qualification recognised by UPSC as equivalent to B.E/B.Tech.

It is also necessary to have a correct GATE score or rank in the JNTU (TS PGECET) exam.

MBA Eligibility Criteria

Admission for an MBA from CBIT Hyderabad is based on TS ICET conducted by the government of Telangana. 

Candidates must score 45 % marks in undergraduate courses to be eligible for admission to CBIT Hyderabad.

MCA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed any bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the Intermediate (10+2) level or have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at the graduation level and have a clear ICET score for CBIT MCA entry.

CBIT Hyderabad Results

CBIT entrance to the various courses that are entrance-based, candidates need to apply for a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), in case of B.Tech admission. For admission to M.Tech candidates must have a valid score in GATE. Applications for the AP EAMCET start in February every year while the exam is conducted in April, whereas applications for GATE start in September and the exam is conducted in February.
