AILET Tie-Break Method
If two or more candidates secure the same marks, the rank will be determined using the breaking method.
NLU has prescribed the tie-break method. Candidates can check out the important pointers of the tie-break method below.
- Candidates who scored the highest marks in Logical Reasoning will be considered.
- If the tie persists, then the ages of the candidates will be compared, and whoever is senior will be given preference.
- If the tie is unsolved, then the computerised draw of lots will determine the ranking of candidates.
Note: The tie-break method is the same for both BA LLB and LLM programs.

AILET result merit list is released after the declaration of the result. AILET merit list comprises the candidate’s name, rank, and marks obtained. Based on the rank and qualified cut-off marks, the top law colleges in India will provide admission.
