SRM University will release the SRMJEEE exam pattern 2021 at its official website. The exam pattern for SRMJEEE 2021, which will be conducted on May 20, 2021 and slight changes have been made in the pattern. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must be aware of SRMJEEE exam pattern 2021. Previously, the exam was conducted for a total of 350 marks. From 2020 onwards, the exam consists of 125 marks in total, where Mathematics or Biology constitute 40 marks, English will be for 5 marks, Aptitude for 10 marks, and Physics and Chemistry will be for 35 marks each. SRMJEEE 2021 will be conducted online i.e., Computer-Based Test (CBT). Although offline mode or Paper-Based Test (PBT) was available for students to choose from until the previous years, now the SRMJEEE exam is only limited to a computer-based test this year. The SRMJEEE exam pattern 2021 will contain all the details related to the exam such as negative marking, total marks, exam duration, etc. Knowing the exam pattern will help the candidates to prepare for the exam properly.

To prepare well for the exam, candidates must be thorough with the SRMJEEE exam pattern 2021. SRMJEEE Exam Pattern 2021 - Marking Scheme

Note: As per the changes introduced in the SRMJEEE exam pattern 2021, the negative marking is not applicable for the 2021 session.

SRMJEEE Syllabus 2021 

SRMJEEE Syllabus is one of the important aspects that the candidates must go through before preparing for the exam. Knowing the entire syllabus will help the candidates to analyse which topic is important and needs attention and which one requires less attention. By knowing the syllabus and SRMJEEE exam pattern 2021, candidates can prepare in a proper way by paying proper attention. The syllabus of SRMJEEE 2021 comprises subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Aptitude and English. Earlier only three sections were there i.e. Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics but from 2021 onwards, the authority has included two more sections: English & Aptitude in the syllabus of SRMJEEE.

SRMJEEE Exam Day Guidelines

The following exam day guidelines are provided below for the candidates to follow on the day of the SRMJEEE 2021 exam. Candidates must go through all the guidelines before appearing for the SRMJEEE 2021 exam. 

  • Candidates must report to the exam centre one hour before the commencement of the exam. They must follow the guidelines else they will be disqualified.
  • Any kind of rough work should be done in the margins.
  • Candidates must not peep into other candidate's computer. If the computer is not working, report immediately to the invigilator. 
  • Electronics items such as watches and gadgets such as mobile phone, calculator, iPad etc in the exam hall.
  • Candidate's misbehaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Candidates must remember that if they finish the exam before the allotted time won't be allowed to leave the exam hall.
