KEE 2019

  • The full form of KEE 2020 is Karunya Entrance Examination which is conducted for students who are aspiring to study in Karunya Institue of Technology and Sciences. 
  • Karunaya Institute of Technology and Sciences is a Deemed University declared under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 which was subsequently renamed as Karunya University. It is accredited "A Grade" by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).

About KEE 2020 exam

  • About: Karunya Entrance Examination or KEE is an entrance exam conducted by Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences every year for all the candidates who wish to apply for Engineering (B.Tech) or Pure sciences courses. 

  • Conducting authority: Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences conducts the examination every year for students who wish to pursue studies in areas like Engineering and Pure sciences. 

  • Exam Level: The KEE 2020 is a university level examination.

  • Courses: Candidates seeking admission for Undergraduate degrees in Engineering and Pure sciences can attempt KEE 2020 Exam. And also there is a Moral/Christian Values test which is of 10 questions containing 1 mark each for each question. KEE 2020 Important Dates

  • Application Form: The application form to apply for KEE 2020 will be made available to all registering candidates from October 9, 2019 to March 5, 2020.

  • Application Mode: The application will be available in online mode. Form application can be accessed by candidates on the official website of Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.

  • Admit card: KEE 2020 admit card will be made available to all registered candidates from April 26, 2020  and it can be downloaded from the official KEE 2020 website.

  • Results: Results will be declared by the conducting authority on April 30, 2020 (tentative).

KEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligibility Criteria: All the candidates applying for KEE 2020 need to have Class XII/PUC equivalent certification with them. If you are applying as a lateral entry then you need to provide your 10+2 equivalent certificate or B.Sc certificate.

  • Age criteria: Candidates should be at least 17 years and should be less than 21 years of age.

  • Minimum marks: All the candidates require a minimum of 50% marks in PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects, on their Class XII/PUC final examinations.

KEE 2020 Application Form

  • Application Availability: 8th of October, 2019 is the release date (tentative) for the candidates' application form on the Karunya Institue of Technology and Sciences official website.

  • Details: All the registering candidates are required to enter details such as personal details, qualification details, contact details, course etc, as instructed on the application form available. Candidates must verify and also ensure that the details entered are correct and genuine.

  • Mode of payment: The application fee payment can be made or done through the official Karunya Institue of Technology and Sciences website online, by the use of Credit/Debit cards or Net banking.

  • Print Out: Candidates are supposed to take a printout of the application form for future reference.

KEE 2020 Exam Pattern 

  • Mode & Design: The KEE 2020 Exam will be an online examination. KEE 2020 question will be divided into four sections and the maximum score obtainable will be 120 marks.

  • Question Type: Exam pattern consists of multiple choice questions where a candidate has to choose one option out of four option.

  • Duration & Marking: Total duration for candidates to finish the written exams (KEE 2020) is of 2 hours and 30 minutes. All correct answers will be awarded +1 mark and -0.25 will be deducted for each wrong answer.

KEE 2020 Admit Card

  • Availability: Admit Card will be made available from April 26, 2020. 

  • Gaining Access: To gain access to his/her admit card, the candidate must first log in to his/her account on the official website, with their credentials which are Registration number and password.

  • Information on the admit card: KEE 2020 admit card issued for all registered candidates will carry important information including personal details like name and address of candidate as well as other details like the examination date and examination venue allocated for a candidate.

  • Documents: It is mandatory for all students to carry a copy of admit card when they appear for the KEE 2020 examination.

KEE 2020 Syllabus 

  • Syllabus: The syllabus for KEE 2020 will follow a combination of both Class XI/PUC 1st Year and Class XII/PUC 2nd Year Syllabus.

  • In the entrance exam, Karunya University tries to test how much a candidate has understood the subjects which he studied in 11th or 12th.
  • Subjects: KEE 2020 will focus on the core subject combination of PCM or PCB (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biology).

KEE 2020 Exam Centres

  • Centres: KEE 2019 exam will be conducted in 53 test centres across India.

  • Selection: Candidates can select the KEE 2019 exam centres according to their preference and their convenience. 

  • Once confirmed the KEE 2019 exam centres cannot be changed.

KEE 2020 Results

  • Declaration of Results: Results for KEE 2020 is expected to be declared on the official website by April 30, 2020

  • Credentials: Results will be made available for all the candidates who appeared for KEE 2020 examination on the official website. To view result the candidate has to log in to his/her account with his/her registration number and password given at the time of the registration process.

  • Print Out: Candidates are required to save a copy of the scorecard or results as they will be asked during the admission process.

KEE 2020 Counselling

  • Availability: KEE 2020 exam counselling commences from June 28, 2020. 

  • Counselling: All the candidates shortlisted for counselling based on their performance and ranking in the written examination can register and also prepare for their counselling process.

  • Document Verification: All the candidates are required to carry along with their original documents (both academic and personal documents which are governments authorised or approved).

  • Rejection: Failing to produce the required documents at the time of counselling might result in rejection of the candidate's admission.

KEE 2020 FAQs

Q: What is the marking scheme for KEE?

One mark will be allotted for every correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Q: Is age limit set as the criteria for the candidates to apply for the exam?

Yes. Candidates who wish to apply for the exam should be between 17 to 21 years of age.

Q: What is the application fee?

The application fee will be INR 1000 for Indian nationals. For foreign nationals and NRI candidates, the fee will be USD 60.

Q: Can the application fee paid through DD?

No. The application form fee can be paid using online payments and electronic payment, but not through DD.

Q: Can a candidate change the selected exam centre?

No. The exam centre once selected cannot be changed.

Q: What is the minimum qualification required for a candidate to apply for the exam?

A candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate in their class XII/ PUC 2nd year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects.

Q: Will the admission fee be refunded if a candidate wishes to cancel his/her admission?

Yes. The admission fee will be refunded according to the rules and regulations. Candidates are eligible to get refund only if they apply on or before the last date.

Q: How much fee can be refunded by a candidate?

An enrolled candidate can get a refund of 80% of the fee if he/she asks for a refund within 15 days of enrollment. 50% of the fee can be refunded within 16 to 30 days from enrollment. No fee can be refunded if a candidate asks for a refund after 30 days of enrollment.

Q: Can the application form be filled in the offline mode?

No, the application form cannot be filled in offline mode. Candidates can avail the application form from the official website of the university.

  • I have attended KEE exam which is the Karunya entrance exam.
  • The only cutoff is you should have above 50 out of 100 in all the subjects. One exception is allowed.

  • The selection process is as below: -

    • Karunya University will not conduct any separate entrance test for admission.
    • Candidates will be admitted provisionally based on their qualification marks in their final year examination and also based on the eligibility requirements set by the university.
    • Candidates have to submit the requisite amount before the specified date.
    • All the candidates, however, have to appear in an entrance test during the provisional admission process.
    • Their admission will be confirmed based on the scores of the entrance test and after they meet the eligibility norms.
    • Candidates can also get the refund on fees provided they fill the application form for a refund.

  • Karunya University was a Christian minority institution and is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The campus spans over 700 acres of land and it is attached to the University Grant Commission.

    KEE 2017 is a national level engineering entrance exam conducted by Karunya University, Coimbatore for interested students who are seeking admissions in B.Tech.courses. To appear for this exam, candidates must fill the application form which will be available from December 2016 on the official website of the university. This exam will be held in 60 different exam centres in India.
