Delhi University has established eligibility criteria for the DU JAT 2022 exam. The DU JAT eligibility requirements will be available in the UG Bulletin of Information, which will be provided by the university. Candidates must review the eligibility criteria to appear for the DU JAT test before finishing the DU JAT 2022 registration. DU JAT Eligibility 2022 (Academic Qualification)

  • The candidates must have passed their senior secondary examination from a recognized board like CBSE or any other board considered equivalent by Delhi University. The candidates who will have appeared in the Senior Secondary School Examination and are awaiting their results are also eligible to apply for this DU JAT exam.
  • The candidates who belong to the general category should have an aggregate of a minimum of 60% in four papers, including English, mathematics, and other two subjects, from the list of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi.
  • The minimum percentage requirements for SC, ST, CW, and PWD category candidate is 54 percent in each of the four papers considered for computing the aggregate.
  • In case the candidate is waiting for their Board result. They will need to produce the confirmed result and the mark sheet of the qualifying examination on the day of the DU JAT counselling/ selection process for admission in BMS/BBA (FIA)/ BA (Hons) Business Economics programs.
  • The candidates without result confirmation mark sheets would not be considered eligible and will not be allowed for admissions.
  • DU JAT eligibility criteria for OBC and SC/ST/PWD/CW is that they will need to produce their category certificate at the final admission stage.
  • The candidates who have appeared for 12th class improvement papers are not eligible to apply for DU JAT for the current year.

DU JAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria (Age Limit)

There is no DU JAT age limit and candidates of all age groups can appear for the exam. 

DU JAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 (Nationality)

The NTA  has specified that the candidates taking up the DU JAT 2022 examinations have to be of Indian nationality. 

DU JAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 (Category Based Reservation)

As per the authority norms, 27% of total DU JAT seats are reserved for the OBC category candidates. These candidates are also given absolute liberty on the marks secured in the examination. There is a 10% relaxation on the minimum score requirement that is given to the candidates belonging to the OBC category.

  • As per the authority norms, 15% of total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes, and 7.5% of the total seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes. The above figures are interchangeable as per the requirement. Therefore, 22.5% of the total seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes category candidates. A 5% relaxation on the score obtained is given for the candidates' minimum eligibility criteria belonging to the ST/SC category.
  • EWS (Economically Weaker Section)- As per the authority norm, 10% of the total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the EWS category.
  • Less than 5% of the total seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to people with benchmark disability, for widows or children of Personnel of Armed Forces, Kashmiri migrants, nominated Sikkimese students, ward quota or Prime Minister's Special Scholarship for Jammu and Kashmir by the Delhi University.
