The DU JAT 2022 counselling process will occur after the exam results are released. Delhi University will conduct DU JAT counselling in 2022 for admission to 16 participating colleges. Delhi University holds three rounds of DU JAT counselling, followed by many spot admission sessions. In addition, Delhi University has an options entry round after the DU JAT results and rank list are released, in which candidates must select a college and course preference. Admission to BBA/BMS/BA(H)BE the DU JAT determines programs. For each round of allotment, candidates are shortlisted depending on their rank position. 

Candidates can check if they are eligible for the counselling process by going through the cut-off list. Only those who qualify for the exams can attend the DU JAT counselling 2022. The counselling is done so that candidates can be allotted seats in various management colleges under Delhi University. The counselling process will be conducted in three rounds, along with one spot round for admission to various colleges affiliated with Delhi University.

DU JAT 2022 Counselling Highlights

The DU JAT 2022 counselling process can be done in various rounds based on the availability of seats in the participating colleges. All the shortlisted candidates are required to attend the counselling process.
Without attending the counselling process, candidates will not be allowed for the admission process. Furthermore, selected candidates have to carry their original mark sheets and certificates at the time of DU JAT sear allotment. If they fail to maintain their initial certifications and mark sheets, their admission will be cancelled.

 DU JAT 2022 Counselling Procedure

Candidates are required to register for the counselling procedure to be able to attend the same. Shortlisted candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling events, which will enable them to move further up the process of admissions. Find the following steps involved in the registration, fee payment, and more in the points below.

There are various steps involved in the DU JAT 2022 counselling process, some of which have been listed below.

Step 1: Admission Form for DU JAT Counselling 2022

• While filling in the application form, candidates are required to select the colleges and courses of their interest. After the declaration of the results, they will be allotted the chosen colleges in order of their ranks as per their preferences, which may vary based on the availability of the seats. The candidates are advised to check the complete list of DU JAT colleges and seats on the official website. 
• If the candidate has been allotted a seat in their first preference of college and course, they will not be allowed to change their assigned seats under any circumstance.
• Once the allotment of college is done, candidates are required to confirm the seat by visiting the admission portal dashboard. After which, the application form for the allotted college will be generated. The seat allotment will depend on the DU JAT total seats available.

Step 2: Verification of Documents 

Candidates who have been shortlisted and allotted seats in colleges will have to report to the respective colleges within the prescribed period. While writing to the college, they also have to carry certain important documents. Some of the documents they need to take with them have been listed below. 

• Printout of Application Form 
• Three Passport Size Photographs 
• Original and Photocopies of Class 10th and 12th Certificates
• Original and Photocopies of Caste Certificate (if required)

Step 3: Payment of Fees

Once the documents have been successfully verified, the allotted college will approve the admission of the candidates online. Candidates will then be required to pay the admission fee through a link-activated on the candidate's fee must be paid within the prescribed period by the authorities. Otherwise, the admission will be canceled. Further, the candidate will not be eligible for that seat in the future and not receive any future allotment of seats in the particular course. 

Step 4: Choice of Re-allotment

After payment of the admission fees, the candidates will be required to select one option. It must be noted that the allotment will depend on the DU JAT no. of seats available. 

• Option 1: I am satisfied with the allotted seat and do not want another allotment.
• Option 2: I wish to be reallotted a seat higher in my preference order if the same is available.

Step 5: Seat Allotment Rounds

In the DU JAT 2022 counselling, the available seats will be allotted to the candidates who choose 'I wish to be allotted a seat higher in my preference order if the same is available.' If a seat is higher in the candidate's candidates available, the same will be allotted to them, and the earlier admission will be canceled. After payment of fees, the authorities will approve it. The entrance to that particular college will be confirmed, and they will not be allowed to appear for any future counselling rounds. Candidates can check some of the categories that will not be considered for the subsequent counselling.

• Candidates who have not confirmed their admission by completing payment in any round of counselling.
• Those who have already been allotted their first preference.
• Candidates whose names already appeared in the provisional admission list did not go for document verification within the prescribed time. 
• Candidates who voluntarily opted out of the allotment.

Step 6: Spot Counselling Rounds (If Required) 

A schedule (time, venue, and date) and the number of seats left will be displayed for the spot counselling round. All the eligible candidates will have to select a college from those available options. In case they get their choice of college, then they can pay the fees and verify the documents. Candidates who failed to take online counseling can also go for spot counseling. In case there are more seats available, then the University may announce more rounds of spot counselling till the last date of admissions as notified by the University.

DU JAT 2022 Counselling Guidelines

Candidates attending the DU JAT 2022 counselling have to follow specific guidelines. Some of which have been listed below.

• Candidates need to log in with their registered email ID and password. Colleges allotted to candidates will be displayed.
• For admission to the displayed course, candidates need to click on the 'Apply for A'ission' taAdmission'lege will verify the documents uploaded by candidates within two days and approve their admission.
• On approving the seat, candidates need to submit the fee within the stipulated time if it is not fulfilled. The seat will be canceled. Usually, the candidates who participate in the DU JAT 2022 first-round counselling are given more time.
• At the time of fee payment (except the first allotment), candidates can upgrade as per their registered preference order or remain with the current distribution.
• Candidates who choose to be upgraded will be provided with another allotment higher in their preference order during the next allocation if seats are available.
• Candidates need to be present in a person with the original documents at the commencement of classes.
