Tie Breaking for Chandigarh NEET Merit List 2025

There can be many chances where two or more students have the same score. In such cases, there is a need for tie-breaking. The tie-breaking rules are mentioned as follows:

• Aspirants with higher marks in biology are given a better rank
• If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in chemistry is given preference
• If the tie still does not break, the candidate with fewer negative marks is prioritised
• And if the problem still lies, the older candidate is preferred and hence given a better rank
