The scholarships for postgraduates are an initiative by the state government and other private organizations of India, which intends to provide educational opportunities to postgraduate students. The deserving candidates will be granted a scholarship amount of up to INR 5,00,000 and other rewards according to their class/category levels. Under this scholarship scheme, the government aims to fund the underprivileged students of society and help them pursue higher education.

Under this scholarship scheme, various scholarships for postgraduates and other professional courses are available. The state government and other private organizations aim to provide monetary assistance to the impoverished students and help them continue their education without any financial hurdles. KVPY Scholarship

The KVPY scholarship is a scheme that incorporates scholarships for postgraduate students in India. It was commenced by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), India. Students who are domiciles of India pursuing their education from class 11 to postgraduate level can benefit from this scholarship scheme. This scholarship for postgraduates intends to provide monetary funds to underprivileged students. The worthy candidates can gain up to INR 28,000 per annum.

The deadline to apply for the KVPY scholarship is September 6th, 2023 (tentatively).

Uttar Pradesh Post-Matric (Other Than Intermediate) Scholarship 

The Social Welfare Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh has introduced the Uttar Pradesh post-matric (other than intermediate) scholarship for the domiciled OBC students of the state pursuing undergraduate/postgraduate or any other higher level of education. Under this scholarship scheme, the government provides funds to the underprivileged students of the backward section of society. The interested applicants should have annual family earnings that should not surpass INR 2,00,000

Prerana Scholarship

The Prerana scholarship is organized by the ST & SC Development and Minority & Other Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Odisha, which provides financial aid to the applicants irrespective of their economic backgrounds. The state's permanent residents pursuing their studies in class 12/ diploma/ vocational courses/ UG/ PG courses can apply for the scholarship for postgraduate students. The candidates must secure at least 50% marks and have an annual family income of INR 2,50,000. The deserving applicant can avail of a maximum reward of up to INR 1,200.

ONGC Scholarship

The ONGC is put forth by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Foundation and invites applications for postgraduate students. It provides funds to the students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in geophysics/ geology and aims to cover their educational expenses. Interested applicants must be below 30 years of age. To be approved for the SC/ST scholarships for postgraduate students, they must have an annual family income of INR 4,50,000 for the general category and INR 2,00,000 for SC and ST/ OBC category students to be approved for the SC/ST scholarships for postgraduate students. The worthy candidates can avail of the scholarship amount of INR 48,000 per annum

Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship

The Sitaram Jindal Foundation introduces the Sitaram Jindal scholarship. This particular scholarship scheme for postgraduate students aims to fulfill the objective of creating a society where no student can be deprived of their right to education. Candidates pursuing their courses in any postgraduate field can submit their application forms for this scholarship. However, the applicants should ensure that their family earnings go beyond INR 2,50,000. The candidates who get selected for the scholarship program will be presented with multiple awards based on the courses they are pursuing.

IIT Kharagpur Centre of Computer Science and Engineering Junior Research Fellowship

The Indian Institute of Technology promotes the scholarship program for postgraduate students by providing the IIT Kharagpur centre of computer science and engineering junior research fellowship to candidates with exceptional academic performance. Students who have scored a commendable percentile in their graduation or GATE/NET entrance exams can register for this scholarship scheme. A maximum scholarship amount of INR 30,000 will be given to the deserving candidates.

Jnanabhumi Scholarship

The state government of Andhra Pradesh seeks to ensure that every student must get educational opportunities irrespective of their economic status. The Jnanabhumi scholarship scheme for postgraduate students aims to provide funds to the domiciles of the state by covering their educational expenses and encouraging them to pursue higher studies. The applicants applying for this scholarship must be from SC, ST, or differently-abled categories and should be studying class 5 to postgraduate degrees. Deserving meritorious candidates will be rewarded with INR 20,000

Endeavour Scholarship

The Government of Australia puts forth the Endeavour scholarship to provide economic aid to international candidates from (America, Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific). This scholarship program aims to help students pursuing their post-graduation and provides several grants to cover their expenses. Top institutions of Australia offer this scholarship for postgraduate students.

The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India Scholarship

The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India scholarship is given to those applicants who aspire to continue their higher academic studies at the University of Oxford or Cambridge. This scholarship program helps the students by providing them with necessary financial resources and reimbursing their educational expenditures. Candidates applying for this scholarship for postgraduates should be residents of India and must not surpass 30 years of age. Academically exceptional students will be given a maximum scholarship amount of INR 2,00,000

Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme

The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation has come forth with the Nirankari Rajmata scholarship scheme to give financial aid to students pursuing technical/professional courses at graduate and postgraduate levels. The scholarship scheme for postgraduates intends to uplift educational opportunities and encourages the applicants to aspire for higher education.

Interested candidates applying for this scholarship program should have a minimum score of 90% in their 12th board examinations. Applicants who get selected will get a 100% reimbursement of their tuition fees. In addition, the family's annual earnings should not go beyond INR 3,50,000 to get qualified for the scholarship scheme for postgraduates.

Step 6: If all the details filled in are apt, click on the submit button to end the application process.
