What is the Jindal Scholarship?
The Jindal Scholarship is a merit-cum-means scholarship provided by the Sitaram Jindal Foundation to deserving meritorious students who belong to underprivileged backgrounds. Students studying in Class 11, 12, ITI, Diploma, Graduation, and Postgraduation can apply for the Jindal scholarship.

Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
Economically weak students from Class 11 to Postgraduate level are provided with the Sitaram Jindal Scholarship. The general criteria to be met to avail the scholarship are:
- All candidates applying for the scholarship should not exceed the age limit of 30.
- For an employed family, the annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 4,00,000.
- For others, the annual family income of the candidate should not exceed INR 2,50,000.

Note:
- For all the physically challenged or handicaps, the eligibility percentage of marks is minimum pass marks.
- For the continuation of the scholarship, the minimum percentage of marks is relaxed by 5%.

Jindal Scholarship Application Process:
The Jindal scholarship application form is available online on the Jindal Scholarship Official Website. Important points to note for the application process are:
- The Jindal scholarship application form can be submitted online or offline.
- Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship at any time as it remains open throughout the year.
- The students can apply for the scholarship whenever required but only once during the entire duration of the course.
- The Jindal scholarship application form should be filled completely with all valid details and attached with all the necessary documents before submission.

- Students from Andhra Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadeep, Maharashtra, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Telangana should send the completed form with all the supporting documents to:

Documents Required for the Jindal Scholarship:
- Passport size photo
- Copy of marks sheet of the last examination
- Copy of SSLC/ HSC marks card
- Copy of BPL card and income certificate for PUC/ ITI students
- Copy of income certificate for Graduate/ Postgraduate/ Diploma/ Engineering/ Medicine students
- Certificate regarding annual fees paid
- Declaration about not getting scholarship from any other source
- Certificate regarding admission under Government merit quota
- Certificate from warden/ accommodation owners regarding stay
- For physically disabled students, certificate of physical disability from the concerned authority
- PPO, Ex-servicemen widow I-card, and Relationship dependency card for widows and Ex-servicemen.
