Ashirwad Scholarship

The Ashirwad scholarship is, provided by the state government of Punjab, is available to the domiciles of Punjab belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC categories. Ashirwad Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The Ashirwad scholarship schemes are available to the domiciles of Punjab. They should fulfil the requirements for applying for the scholarship. Listed below are the Ashirwad scholarship eligibility criteria: 

• The candidate should be a Punjab domicile belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category.
• The students should have passed Class 10th from a government/ private recognized college or board of secondary education in Punjab.
• The applicant's age should not be less than 17 years while applying for the Ashirwad scholarship Punjab.
• The annual family income of the SC/ ST candidate should not exceed INR 2,50,000 from all sources.
• The annual family income of the OBC applicant should not exceed INR 1,00,000 from all sources.
• Students pursuing distance learning/ correspondence courses can apply to the Ashirwad scholarship.
• Applicants pursuing post-graduation in medicine can apply for the Ashirwad scholarship provided they are not practising during the course.
• The student applying for the Ashirwad scholarship should not be receiving any other scholarship benefits from any other source.

How to Apply for Ashirwad Scholarship?

The Ashirwad scholarship application is an online process. The candidates can obtain the application form on the Ashirwad scholarship portal Punjab. Interested applicants should submit the Ashirwad scholarship form 2023 within the stipulated time. The detailed application procedure is given below:

1. Interested applicants should visit the Punjab Ashirwad scholarship official website.
2. They should then click on the 'Post-matric Scholarship Portal' under the students corner section.
3. The applicant should click on the ‘Student Registration’ tab to complete the Ashirwad scholarship registration process as a new user. The system will generate a user ID and password after a successful registration.
4. The candidate should then enter the Ashirwad scholarship student login details on the portal using the registered User ID and password.
5. The applicant has access to the Ashirwad scholarship online application form. They should fill the form with all the required details.
6. The student should then recheck all the entered details thoroughly to avoid the State Education Board rejecting the application.
7. The candidate should upload all the necessary documents and 'Submit' the application form on the Ashirwad scholarship portal.
