NSDL Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2023-24

The NSDL scholarship 2024 is provided to the students residing near the ACC cement plants across the country. However, the children of the ACC employees are not eligible for the NSDL student scholarship. Listed below are the NSDL scholarship eligibility criteria:

  • The NSDL scholarship eligibility criteria vary for different candidates and choices of program.
  • The students applying for undergraduate courses should have scored at least 50% marks in the HSC examination.
  • The candidates pursuing BE/ BTech should have scored at least 50% marks at the HSC level and 50% at the diploma level.
  • The students pursuing ITI courses should have scored a minimum of 35% marks in the SSC examination.
  • The candidates pursuing a diploma program should have scored at least 50% marks in the SSC or equivalent level examination.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 5,00,000 per annum from all sources.
  • The scholarship program is not available for ACC employees and their children.

NSDL Scholarship Rewards and Benefits 2023-24

The NSDL scholarship amount varies for different students based on their choice of course/ program. Listed below are the NSDL scholarship amounts for other classes:

  • The maximum NSDL scholarship amount will always be less than or equal to the educational course fees displayed in the admission certificate/ fee receipt.
  • The NSDL scholarship amount varies according to schemes, institutions, and courses.
  • The NSDL scholarship amount starts from INR 5,000.
  • Diploma students receive an NSDL scholarship amount of up to INR 20,000.
  • The panel offers up to INR 20,000 to ITI students.
  • BE/ BTech candidates receive an NSDL scholarship of up to INR 75,000 through the Schindler Igniting Minds (SIM) renewal scheme.
  • The NSDL scholarship amount disbursed to undergraduate applicants is up to INR 5,000.

NSDL Scholarship Application Process 2023-24

Eligible students should visit the official website to submit the NSDL scholarship forms. They should also ensure they meet all the requirements before applying to avoid rejections. The stepwise application process is explained below.

  1. Interested applicants should visit the official website of the NSDL Vidyasaarathi scholarship.
  2. They should sign up on the scholarship portal by clicking the ‘Sign Up’ button on the right side of the homepage.
  3. The candidate should create an account through registration by providing a name, mobile number, email ID, and password.
  4. The applicant should click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the registration process.
  5. After successful registration, an activation link is sent to the applicant’s registered email address. If the activation link is not found even in the spam/ junk mail, the applicant should email grievance@vidyasaarathi.co.in or call the customer care number 022-40904484.
  6. The student should now log in to the NSDL scholarship login portal using the email ID and password.
  7. The candidate should search for the relevant schemes on the Vidyasaarathi portal and apply for the scheme.
  8. The students should enter all the required basic details and the specific NSDL scholarship details in the application form.
  9. The candidate should recheck all the NSDL scholarship details in the application form. The applicants should note that they cannot make the changes after submitting the form.
  10. Finally, the applicant should upload all the supporting documents and click ‘Submit’ to complete the NSDL Vidyasaarathi scholarship application process.
  11. The candidates can check the status by providing the NSDL scholarship login credentials and clicking on the ‘Action’ header.
