The Madhya Pradesh government also offers financial aid to students pursuing undergraduate or integrated postgraduate degrees. The benefits are as follows: 

• Candidates pursuing engineering courses at a government/ non-government institution will receive the total course fees. However, those studying in private colleges will receive INR 1,50,000 or the actual fee, whichever is less.
• Those pursuing a medical/ dental degree at a government or private hospital will receive a full tuition fee.
• The scholars pursuing a law degree at National Law Universities (NLUs) will receive the full tuition fee.
• Those pursuing an integrated postgraduate programme will also receive the full course fee.

Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY) 

The Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY) invites applications from students who have enrolled in a bachelor's degree, ITI or polytechnic courses after clearing the class XII exam. The Department of Technical Education and Skill Development of the state provides the Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY) for the domiciles of Madhya Pradesh. The MP government offers financial support to the wards of unorganised workers through this scheme. 

Eligibility Criteria 

The Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY), under the MP scholarships, applies to the residents of Madhya Pradesh. The state government has implemented the Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY) MP scholarship to uplift the lives of the children of unorganised workers as termed by the labour department of the MP government. Given below are the benefits of the Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY): 

• The state government will cover the full course fee of students enrolled for an engineering degree in a government or non-government college.
• However, the students studying for an engineering degree in a private college will receive the full course fee or INR 1,50,000, whichever is less.
• The medical/ dental aspirants will receive the full course fee.

Post-Matric MP Scholarship for OBC Students 

The students studying class XI and above can apply to this M scholarship scheme. They should be residents of Madhya Pradesh belonging to the OBC category. The objective of the scholarship is to encourage students from the OBC category to pursue higher studies. 

Eligibility Criteria 

The applicants should ensure they meet the following criteria to apply for the post-matric MP scholarship for OBC students: 

• The candidates should be domiciles of Madhya Pradesh.
• They should belong to the Other Backward Classes (OBC).
• The candidates should be studying class XI or above.
• The family income should not exceed INR 3,00,000 per annum. 

Benefits 

The benefits of the post-matric MP scholarship for the OBC category depends on the students' family income, course, course fee, etc. The selected candidates will receive up to 100% scholarship. Listed below are the details of the rewards:

Post-Matric Scholarships for ST Students 

The Post-matric MP scholarship for the ST students are available to the Madhya Pradesh residents belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. The students can apply online to the scholarship through the official MP scholarship 2.0 portal. The Department of Tribal Welfare provides the post-matric MP scholarship for ST students. It covers up to 100% of the student's scholarship. 

Eligibility Criteria 

The candidates applying for the post-matric MP scholarship for the ST students should meet the following requirements: 

• They should be domiciles or residents of the MP state.
• The applicants should have cleared the class X exam and should have enrolled in a post-secondary or post matriculation level. 

Benefits 

The selected ST students will receive the benefits depending on their institution, the class they are studying, family income, etc. The providers will cover up to 100% of the student's tuition fee. The benefits of post-matric MP scholarship for ST students are as follows: 

• The candidates will receive a 100% scholarship if their family income is less than INR 60,000 per annum.
• Those whose family income is more than INR 60,000 and less than INR 2,50,000 will receive a 50%.

Model Higher Secondary Schools and Girls Education Complex Scholarship Scheme 

The Model higher secondary schools and girls education, under the MP scholarships, is available to class VI, IX and XI students. The State government of Madhya Pradesh intends to provide good quality education to the scheduled category students residing in tribal areas through this scheme. Interested candidates should apply offline through their educational institutions. 

Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria of model higher secondary schools and the girls' education complex scholarship scheme are as follows: 

• The candidates in class VI, IX or XI, should have passed the class V, VIII or X exam, respectively.
• In addition, they should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the previous qualifying exam.

Benefits 

The State government of Madhya Pradesh offers the model of higher secondary schools and the girls' education complex scholarship scheme. They offer monetary rewards and additional benefits. They are as follows: 

• The candidates will obtain free accomodation.
• They will receive stationery items, reference books, textbooks, computer training, television and newspapers.
• The government will grant INR 350 toward their uniform.
• The male scholars will also receive a fixed amount of INR 500 per month, and the female scholars will receive INR 525 per month for ten months.

Gaon ki Beti Scheme 

The Department of Higher Education offers the gaon ki beti scheme in Madhya Pradesh. The applications are tentatively opened throughout the year. The gaon ki beti scheme is available to female students who have cleared the XII board exam. It aims to empower young girls in rural areas by helping them pursue higher education. 

Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for the gaon ki beti scheme are as follows: 

• The candidates should be female students residing in the rural areas of Madhya Pradesh.
• She should have passed the class XII board exam.
• In addition, she should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the examination. 

Benefits 

The state government of Madhya Pradesh grants up to INR 5,000 per annum, that is INR 500 for ten months. The girl students belonging to the SC/ST, OBC or general category can apply to this MP scholarship scheme.

The application for the gaon ki beti scheme is open throughout the year. However, the timeline is tentative and can change at the provider's discretion. 

Pratibha Kiran Scheme 

The Department of Higher Education provides the Pratibha Kiran scheme under the MP scholarships. The scheme is available to female students living in the urban areas of Madhya Pradesh. Candidates who have cleared the class XII exam with at least 60% marks can apply to the Pratibha Kiran MP scholarship scheme. The aim is to uplift the lives of the girl students belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. The applications for the Pratibha Kiran MP scholarship scheme is tentatively opened throughout the year. However, it may change according to the provider's discretion. 

Eligibility Criteria 

Only female students residing in Madhya Pradesh can apply to the Pratibha Kiran scheme. The other eligibility criteria are as follows: 

• The candidates should have cleared the class XII board exam.

• The candidates should belong to the BPL
• They should reside in the urban areas of Madhya Pradesh. 

Benefits 

Under the government of Madhya Pradesh, the Department of Higher Education offers up to INR 5,000 to the selected female candidates every year.

Vikramaditya Yojana 

The Department of Higher Education provides the Vikramaditya yojana MP scholarship. This scheme offers financial aid to deserving students belonging to the underprivileged general category. The selected students can avail free education through the Vikramaditya yojana. However, they should have cleared the class XII exam to apply for this scheme. 

Eligibility Criteria 

The Vikramaditya yojana scheme is one of the popular MP scholarships. It offers financial aid to the general category of students living below the poverty line. Listed below are the eligibility criteria: 

• The candidates should belong to the general category.
• They should be domiciles of MP.
• The candidates should have secured at least 60% marks in the Class XII board exam.
• The family income of candidates who want to pursue higher education should not exceed INR 1,20,000.
• The family income of the students pursuing an undergraduate degree should not exceed INR 54,000. 

Benefits 

The state government of Madhya Pradesh offers up to INR 2,500 per annum towards the students' education.

The applications for the Vikramaditya yojana are tentatively available throughout the year. However, the application timeline can change at the provider's discretion. 

Nishant Jan Scheme 

The Department of Social Justice offers the Nishant Jan scheme to differently-abled students. This scheme is available to candidates studying at any class level. However, they should not be receiving any other benefits while at the time of application. 

Eligibility Criteria 

The candidates applying for the Nishant Jan MP scholarship should fulfil the following requirements: 

• They should be a native of Madhya Pradesh.
• The applicants should be at least 40% disabled.
• They should be studying in an institution recognised by the government.
• The candidates should not benefit from any other schemes such as fee exemption, travel allowance, subsistence allowance, etc.
• If a student fails a semester or a class, they will not receive the tuition fee, travel allowance and subsistence allowance while repeating that year or semester. However, they will continue to receive the benefits after they clear the re-examination and continue studying in the next semester or academic year. 

Benefits 

The state government offers the candidates' course fees, transport charges and subsistence fees to the selected students. In addition, they will offer financial assistance as per the norms of the government.  

Awas Sahayata Schemes 

The State government of Maharashtra provides the awas sahayata scheme to the SC and ST students. According to this MP scholarship scheme, the government offers financial aid to students residing in rented houses. In addition, they offer housing allowances to the candidates every month to help them pursue their education without any financial hurdles. 

The candidates can apply for housing assistance after they finish applying for the post-matric scholarship. They must take a printout of the application form and submit it to their respective institutions. The institutes will process the awas sahayata applications through the MP state scholarship portal 2.0. 

Eligibility Criteria 

The requirements for the awas sahayata scheme are as follows: 

• The candidates should be natives of Madhya Pradesh.
• They should belong to the SC or ST
• The candidates should be studying at an institution recognised by the Indian government.
• They should be living on rent. 

Benefits 

The government will grant a housing allowance of up to INR 2,000 per month to the selected candidates through this MP state scholarship scheme. 

MP Scholarship Login 

The Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched an official portal for students to apply and track the MP scholarship status at the convenience of their homes.
