What is ITM NEST 2021?

Full form of ITM NEST is ITM National Entrance and Scholarship Test. ITM NEST is conducted by ITM University, which is situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. After qualifying this exam, a candidate can get admission into the streams like Engineering, Computer Science, Law, Fine Arts, Management, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Art & Design, Architecture and Nursing.

This exam is conducted every year, and the application form for ITM NEST will be released in January every year. Tt can be filled via online and offline modes. Result for ITM NEST 2021 is expected to be released on Jun 3, 2021.

Exam Dates

Application form for this exam will be tentatively released on Jan 30, 2021. Last date to apply for this test is expected to be Apr 15, 2021. ITM NEST 2021 Exam will be conducted on Apr 19, 2021 (tentatively). Results will be released on Jun 3, 2021 (tentatively).

Eligibility Criteria

ITM University has set the criteria for qualification of a candidate. Eligibility for the ITM NEST 2021 exam is as follows:

B.Tech/ B.Tech [Hons.] in Civil, Mechanical, ECE, EE, CSE, IT, Automobile, Agricultural, Petroleum Engineering. Candidate should have obtained an aggregate of more than 50% marks in 10+2 (Maths stream).
B.Tech/ B.Tech [Hons.] in Biotechnology Engineering Candidate should have obtained an aggregate of more than 50% marks in 10+2 (Maths/Biology stream).
B.Tech CSE (Specialization in Data Science and Machine Learning/ Cloud Computing/ Cyber Forensics) Candidate should have obtained an aggregate of more than 65% marks in 10+2 (Maths stream).
Integrated Program [B.Tech+MBA/M.Tech] in Mechanical, Civil, ECE, CSE] Candidate should have obtained an aggregate of more than 65% marks in 10+2 (Maths stream).
Integrated Program [B.Tech+MBA/M.Tech] in Biotechnology Candidate should have obtained an aggregate of more than 65% marks in 10+2 (Maths/Biology stream).
M.Tech in CSE, Geotechnical, Structural Engineering, VLSI, Construction Technology & Management, Communications System, Thermal Engineering, Machine Design, Production & Industrial Engineering Candidate should have obtained an aggregate of more than 50% marks in BE/ B.Tech from any recognized university.
BCA Candidate should have scored a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 in any stream.
BCA [Hons.] Candidate shall have scored a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 in any stream.
MCA Candidate should have done 10+2 in Maths and Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks.
PGDCA Candidate should be a graduate in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks.
PhD in Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Applications/Mechanical Engg./Civil Engg./ECE. Candidate should possess a Post Graduation degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
BBA Candidate should have completed 10+2 with 50% marks.
BBA [Hons.]/ BBA [Hons.] in Financial Markets with NSE/Business Analytics. Candidate should have scored 55% marks in 10+2.
MBA (Supply Chain & Logistics Management/Financial Markets/Agri-Business/Hospital Management/Dual Specialization) Candidates should have done UG/PG with 50% marks.
MBA in Pharmaceutical Sales & Marketing Candidates should have done UG/PG in Science stream with 50% marks.
 B.Com Candidates should have obtained 50% marks in 10+2. 
B.Com [Hons.] /B.Com [Hons.] pursuing CA,CS & CMS Candidates should have obtained 55% marks in 10+2.
Integrated Program in Management [IPM] Candidate should have a minimum of 60% marks in 10+2.
D.Pharma Candidate should have passed 10+2 in PCB/PCM with minimum 50% marks

B.Sc [Hons.] in Agriculture Candidate must have done 10+2 with Science/Agriculture with a minimum of 50% marks.
M.Sc Agriculture in Agronomy/ Horticulture Candidate should have completed UG/PG in Agriculture stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
PhD in Agriculture Candidate should have completed PG degree with 55% marks.

Bachelor in Physiotherapy [BPT]  Candidate should have done 10+2 with PCB with at least 50% marks.

How to apply for ITM NEST 2021?

To apply for ITM NEST 2021, a student can follow two modes:

  • Offline Mode
  • Online Mode

Offline Mode

For Application Form

  • You can send a demand draft (DD) of INR 1000/- in favour of "ITM University" payable at Gwalior with a covering letter which has to be addressed to “The Chairman, Admission Board”, ITM University Gwalior, requesting for the Application Form and mentioning their complete postal address. In return, you will be getting your application form by post. OR
  • You can complete the payment of INR 1000/- with cash at Counseling Cell, ITM University Gwalior. OR
  • You can simply download it from the official website in the form of a "PDF" file.

For Submission of Form

You have to send the correctly filled form with proper course codes at the following address:

In case you are registering for ITM NEST, then you have to send a DD of INR 1000/-. Otherwise, if you wish to register and apply, you have to send a DD of INR 1100/-. In both cases, the DD has to be drawn in the favour of "ITM University" payable at Gwalior and the application form should be affixed along with the photocopies of the documents.

Online Mode

For online mode, you have to follow the following procedure to get enrolled for ITM NEST 2021:

  • Step 1: Firstly, you have to visit the official website of ITM NEST i.e. http://itmuniversity.ac.in/
  • Step 2: On the next step, click on the "Apply Now" tab.
  • Step 3: Upon clicking on the same, you would be taken to the next page where you have to register with details like name, contact number, E-mail ID, course enrolling for, state and the city of belonging.
  • Step 4: On the next step, you will be receiving your Username and Password on your registered mobile number. 
  • Step 5: You will have to login with those credentials and start filling out the application form with your personal and academic details.
  • Step 6: Upon filling the whole form, upload your documents like your latest photograph and signature.
  • Step 7: When you finish with uploading the documents, last step remaining will be the payment of the fees. You can pay the fee after you fill the form completely.
  • Step 8: In this last step, you will need to pay the fee using online payment instruments like Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking.

ITM NEST Results

Results of ITM NEST 2021 exam will be declared on Jun 3, 2021 (tentatively). Mode of result declaration will be online and afterwards, the counselling process will get started.

Counselling

Candidates shortlisted for ITM NEST 2021 Counselling process will have to be physically present at the venue of counselling. In order to complete the admission, a candidate will need to submit his/her original documents at the counselling venue. These documents will be taken for the purpose of verification. Post verification, all documents will be returned to the student.
