Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology Admission

Registration of candidature by filling online application or sending the hard copy of the downloaded/ purchased application form. The candidate may fill the application form without waiting for the results of JEE. The merit amongst applications received will be drawn based on the actual marks scored by the candidate in Paper -1 of JEE (Main) examination or based on marks secured in board exams. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will receive an offer letter via email or by post or SMS. Candidates need to submit the first instalment of the fee as indicated in the offer letter within the prescribed time. Seats in the programs will be allotted based on preferences indicated in the application form strictly in order of merit.

GIET Eligibility Criteria

Each course has minimum eligibility criteria which a student needs to meet to be able to apply for that course. Below are the eligibility criteria for the popular GIET courses.

GIET B.Tech Eligibility

B.Tech is a four-year undergraduate course with specializations in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, computer science and engineering, and electronics & communication engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

• The students should have minimum academic qualification as Pass in 10+2 examination with 45% marks from recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

GIET Diploma Eligibility

Diploma in Engineering is a three-year course with specializations in civil engineering and mechanical engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

• The students should have minimum academic qualification as pass 35% in 10th exam from recognized Board/University.
• For Lateral Entry in Diploma, the students should have minimum academic qualification as pass 50% in 10+2 exam from recognized Board/University.

GIET BCA Eligibility

Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA] is a three-year undergraduate course offered by Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 or it's equivalent from a recognized board.
