Indian Institute of Technology Indore, also known as IIT Indore, is an Institute of National Importance established in 2009. Originally mentored by IIT Bombay, the institute now functions from its permanent 501-acre campus located in Simrol, Madhya Pradesh. • Appear and Qualify in JEE Main 2026: Conducted by NTA in two sessions (Session 1 and Session 2). This serves as the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced.
• Register and Appear for JEE Advanced 2026: Only top performers in JEE Main (usually top 2.5 lakh candidates) are eligible. The exam consists of two papers.
• Qualify JEE Advanced 2026: Obtain a rank within the qualifying cutoff set by JoSAA/IITs.
• Participate in JoSAA Counselling 2026: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) handles centralized seat allocation for all 23 IITs (including IIT Indore), NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs.
