INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION
  • There are 16 hostels inside IITB. Hostels are facing many issues currently as they are very old now but they are under renovation.
  • Hostel including mess fee is Rs. 15000 pa.
  • The hostel is compulsory for every college student.
  • There is no PGs inside campus but there is a guest house at very affordable rate.
  • Food quality is decent in every mess. There is canteen facility for every hostel.
  • One day meal for one person will cost around Rs. 125 including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.
  • The quality of classrooms, wifi, library and everything is best.
  • Free wifi is available in the whole campus.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION
  • There are 17 hostels. 13k is the hostel fee per semester. In our college, we will have to stay in the hostel.
  • The mess in some hostels is good. Our hostel mess is good. Some mess is bad too. Around 100 is the cost for all meals throughout the day.
  • Wifi is available with full speed almost everywhere. Labs are well equipped with AC's, systems and open 24hrs.
  • Classrooms have AC's too and the atmosphere everywhere is awesome.

  • There are 17 hostels naming H1 to H17 in ITT Bombay.  Hostel up 9 are old before 2000 and after are newly constructed and had minimum 5 floors with lift facilitated . Hostel fee is 15000.  
  •  Fee's include's food and hostel related reimbursement.
  • Quality of Classrooms, Labs, Libraries, dining halls, Wi-Fi and other key infrastructure are Very good.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION
  • There is 16 hostels, including 2 for girls, and 2 hostel common for both boys and girls. The hostels are good, the older ones need some repairing. Hostel fees are Rs 2000 per month.
  • The PGs cost outside is very high as the institute is situated at the heart of the city. The cost outside is around Rs 10000-15000 per month.
  • The quality of food is good, and the sanitation facility is also very nice. Students get four times a day food in the food arena. The cost per is around 50 rupees.
  • Classrooms are well designed for better use, it has projectors, scanners, boards etc. Labs are furnished with all modern equipment, and have experts for any query. There is a central library with more than 1crore books in it. All the aforesaid places are Wi-fi enabled including the dining halls which are very clean, and have a large space to accommodate all the students.

There is total of 6 hostels on the campus and it charges are 5,000 per month. the quality of classes, labs, wi-fi, and infrastructure is excellent.

  • Girls hostel is really nice, being newly constructed. The boys hostels are old buildings and so bit worn down. Mess food is in general good with different cuisines served throughout the week at differernt meals. Every hostel has all-night  canteen with affordable food.
  • Classrooms and labs are well equipped with AC.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION

There are no hostels as the majority students are from nearby areas.But there is many more PG. PG mainly cost INR 3000/- per month. Food is of grat taste in the college. The classrooms are maintained in good conditions as well as the wi fi is best.

HOSTELS & FOOD
  • WiFi available at most of the places in Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
  • Hostels are equipped with LAN and the food depends on the mess of individual hostels.
  • There are Canteens at almost every hostel and many other food points with great food on the campus.
  • Many nice restaurants can be found in the close vicinity of the campus.

Hostels:

IIT-B is well known for its extensive residential facilities. Students have the luxury of being located in Powai, one of the finer suburbs of Mumbai, outside the bustle of the city, yet not far from the attractions of the city during weekends. Staying in the campus is particularly attractive because resident students have access to several facilities. IITB boasts 14 hostels.

  • Hostel No. 10 is for the undergraduate and post graduate students.
  • The hostel with No. 11 is only for the post graduate students and totally kept reserved for the girls.
  • There is also a housing complex named Tansa House which is reserved for the ‘single male project staff’. Being the smallest hostel, it provides with 128 rooms.
  • The Tulsi House has been kept reserved for the research scholars only

Lecture Hall:

The institute lecture hall complex hosts classrooms of various sizes from a large auditorium to small tutorial rooms.  Booking of regular lecture slots is done by the academic office.
