About: SUAT (Sharda University Admission Test) is an All India Entrance examination conducted by Sharda University for admission to various courses offered by Sharda University.

Courses Offered: Sharda University provides admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the fields of engineering, arts, management and law through SUAT 2019 Exam.

SUAT 2019 Important Dates

Applicants must keep a track of SUAT 2019 Important Dates before applying for SUAT 2019.

  • SUAT 2019 Application form: The candidates applying for SUAT 2019 should start applying for the same from 4th March 2019 up to the last date which is 9th July 2019. The form can be filled at the official website of Sharda University i.e.

  • Admit card: The SUAT Admit Card for SUAT 2019 Exam will be released once the candidates have successfully booked his/her slot on the official website.

  • Exam date: SUAT 2019 Exam will be held from 28th June 2019 to 30th June 2019 and will be conducted by Sharda University itself.

  • Important Dates of SUAT 2019 will be declared by Sharda University. The above-mentioned are dates are tentative.

SUAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must understand SUAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria before applying SUAT 2019 Exam.

  • Under Graduate programme: The candidate has to pass Class 12th from any of the recognized boards of India. The candidate should be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the academic year in order to be eligible for admission to the University.

  • Age limit: Applicants must be at least 17 years of age till December 31 of that academic year for admission. Indian/ NRI/ International candidates are also eligible to apply for SUAT 2019.

  • Foreign Candidates: The Foreign candidates are required to pass certificate equivalent to Class 12th examination. Such candidates are also required to meet the eligibility criteria of the Association of Indian University (AIU).

  • Post Graduate programme: The candidate has to be a graduate of any recognized college/university in India.

  • Foreign National Candidates: The Foreign candidates are required to pass certificate equivalent to Class 12th examination. Such candidates are also required to meet the eligibility criteria of the Association of Indian University (AIU).

  • Candidates in the Final year: The candidates who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for Sharda University Admission Test 2019.

SUAT 2019 Syllabus

  • SUAT Syllabus for UG programmes (Bio): The candidates who are applying for Biology stream must concentrate on English Communication, General Aptitude, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.

  • SUAT Syllabus for UG programmes (PCM): The SUAT 2019 Syllabus for the PCM course will be based on English Communication, General Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

  • SUAT Syllabus for UG programmes (Non-PCM): The candidates for this stream must focus on General Awareness, English Communication, Logical Reasoning & Critical Thinking & Quantitative Aptitude.

  • SUAT Syllabus for PG programmes: Those who are applying for a post-graduate programme in Sharda University must be thorough in General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English communication.

SUAT 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) 2019 is conducted through online mode and not offline. 

  • There will be a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), duration of the exam will be of 1.5 hours (90 minutes). 

  • Questions will comprise of topics related to Analytical Skills, Problem Solving skills and Language Proficiency of the candidates.

  • There is no negative marking for the wrong answers in SUAT 2019.

SUAT 2019 Application Form Details

All applicants are required to fill valid details in SUAT 2019 Application Form.

  • Mode: Application forms will be available Online from 4th March 2019 and candidates can fill the form till 9th July 2019.

  • Fee: SUAT 2019 Application Fee is INR 1000/-.

  • Modes: Application fee can be paid through online or offline mode.

    • Online mode: The candidates can pay the application fee through net banking or they can also use their debit or credit cards to do the payment.

    • Offline mode: Candidates can pay the application fee in the form of cash at the university admission counter. Applicants can also pay the fee in the form of a Demand Draft. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of:

  • Bank Challan: Candidates can also pay the application fee through bank challan which is payable at any PNB or Axis banks branches.

SUAT 2019 Admit Card

  • SUAT Admit Card 2019 will be available for download only for the candidates who have successfully completed the application process.

  • Admit Cards/ Hall Tickets can be downloaded from the official website once the candidate has successfully booked his/her slot for the exam.

  • Candidates are required to carry 2 copies of Admit Cards to the Examination Centre on the day of the examination, they would also have to carry along a government-issued Photo ID Card and a copy of the application form confirmation page.

SUAT 2019 Results

  • Sharda University will declare the result of SUAT 2019 on the official website on 5th July 2019 (Tentative).

  • Personal Interview will be held for candidates who score above 35% in the examination. The Personal Interview will be held at the Sharda University or in any regional office.

SUAT 2019 Counselling

  • The counselling will be held only for those candidates who clear the SUAT 2019 Exam with a valid score card and qualify the cut-off marks required for Counselling.

  • The counselling will be held at Sharda University or at any regional office. 

  • Students who get selected will be called for a Personal Interview. However, for the admission to MBA programme, a GD (Group Discussion) will also be held at Sharda University.

SUAT 2019 Preparation Tips

  • The candidates should select the best study material. Go for the best authors while searching for the reference books.

  • The revision will be the key to success. So, keep on revising the syllabus at least twice or thrice after finishing it.

  • Time management is an important factor for each subject and this will help in covering all subjects. Hence, plan your time accordingly while attempting the question paper. You can use the stopwatch to keep a track of your speed.

  • Refer Mock question papers for reference and prepare well. Analyze the changes in the difficulty level of each years' question paper.

  • Candidates should have the proper knowledge about the Exam Syllabus and Exam Pattern.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

The eligibility criteria for getting in Sharda University for Civil Engineering is quite clear and sorted. Below are the things you will need to be handy:

  • 10th Mark sheet with an average of 60% marks
  • 12th Mark sheet with PCB/M/Computers with an average of 70% marks. Remember you should have at least 50% marks in Mathematics.
  • Scorecard of JEE with a rank up to 3 lakhs or UPSEE with a rank up to 50,000. If you don't have any of these, you will have to appear in SUAT (Sharda University Entrance Examination) and have to clear it at least 60%. And, it will be followed by a Personal Interview.
