SMAT application form 2023 was released on the official website, i.e., www.iismworld.com/smat. The International Institute of Sports & Management released the application form twice as the SMAT exam is held two times a year. The SMAT 2023 application form process concluded on the SMAT application portal online.

Students could register and apply for SMAT application 2023 by paying a fee of INR 1200 on the portal. SMAT exam 2023 is conducted for admissions to the institution's undergraduate, postgraduate, and PG Diploma courses.

SMAT 2023 Application Form Dates

The SMAT exam is conducted two times a year, and the application process is concluded. On the official portal, the SMAT application form 2023 process started on Jun 20, 2023, for session 1 and Jul 9, 2023. The application window for session 1 closed on Jun 22, 2023, and Jul 11, 2023, for the second session. 

The exam was held on Jun 25, 2023, and Jul 12, 2023, online for 1 hr 20 minutes for BSM and 2 hrs for MSM applicants. Below given are the important SMAT 2023 application form dates. 

SMAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The bachelor of Sports Management (BSM) program at the University of Mumbai lasts three years, and the Master of Sports Management (MSM) program lasts two years. At IISM Campus, the Post Graduate Program in Sports Management (PGPSM) and Post Graduate Program in Sports Event Management (PGPSEM) lasts 11 months. 

Candidates intending to appear for SMAT must be sure to check the eligibility requirements. The authorities will reject application forms that do not meet the eligibility criteria of the exam.

Below are the eligibility criteria for admission through SMAT 2023:

• Open category: The minimum aggregate score at the HSC and Bachelor’s degree is 50 percent for applicants belonging to the Open category.
• Reserved Category: The minimum aggregate score at the HSC and Bachelor’s degree is 45 percent for applicants belonging to the Reserved category. 

Further, the eligibility criteria for admission through MAH-CET 2023 are stated below:

• Applicants for post-graduation can apply with their MAH-CET scores as well.
• Open Category: The minimum score through MAH CET is 50 percent.
• Reserved Category: The minimum score through MAH CET is 45 percent.

Steps to Fill SMAT Application Form 2023

The application process of SMAT 2023 concluded on Jul 11, 2023, on the official website. The steps to fill SMAT Application Form 2023 are as follows. 

• Step 1: Students must visit the official website i.e,  www.iismworld.com/smat and complete SMAT 2023 Registration.
• Step 2: Students must enter all the details asked, like name, email, phone number, etc. 
• Step 3: After SMAT Registration 2023, students need to login and download SMAT 2023 Application Form.
• Step 4: Students must fill in the required details in the application form.
• Step 5: After filling, they must upload the photograph and signature in the prescribed format. 
• Step 6: Students must pay the application fee of INR 1200 through Debit/Credit Card/ Demand Draft or net banking.
