JELET 2022 Eligibility
WBJEE JELET 2022 is conducted for admission into Engineering and Pharmacy colleges. The JELET 2022 eligibility criteria for both exams vary based on educational ground and age. Rest all eligibility conditions are the same for the aspirants seeking admission into each course. The candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.
Educational Qualification:
- Pharmacy: The candidates must have passed a Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD) from an AICTE approved institution.
- Engineering/ Technology: The candidates must have passed a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD) from an AICTE approved institution. Candidates should have opted for mathematics as the main subject in Class 12.
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit: Generally, there is no upper age limit for the exam. But for B.Sc. candidates, the upper age limit is 27 years as of 31/12/2022. For Diploma in Marine Engineering candidates, the upper age limit is 25 years as of 31/12/2022.
Academic Qualification: Aspirants with B.Sc and BE Degree looking for admission in Engineering or Technology courses must have passed class XII with mathematics as a subject and B.Sc or BE with a minimum of 45% marks from UGC recognized university.
Aspirants holding a diploma in Technology, Engineering, or Pharmacy and who want to apply for degree courses through JELET 2022 Exam must have scored 45% marks from any Polytechnic Institute or Pharmacy College/Institute recognized by AICTE.
JELET Eligibility Criteria for Jadavpur University: The minimum marks required by the candidates is 60% (45% for reserved category) or equivalent CGPA from an AICTE approved institution. B.Sc candidates are not allowed to apply to Jadavpur University.

WBJEE JELET 2022 Registration
The registration for the WB JELET 2022 started on Jan 18, 2022 and the last date to apply was on Jan 31, 2022. The application process is the same for both courses. The candidates need to follow the below steps while applying for JELET 2022 Exam:
Step 1: Registration: You have to register with your documented name, mobile number, and email ID to create a new account to fill out the application form. The login credentials will be sent to the registered mobile number and Email Id. Use the credentials to log in.
Step 2: Filling the Application Form: Fill out the application form with details such as personal, academic, and contact details as per the government proof.
Step 3: Uploading of Images: The candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature, and left thumb impression. The photograph should have a transparent background and focus on the face.
Step 4: Payment of Registration Fee: Use Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card to pay the fee, and make sure that you keep the receipt. In case of offline payment, note the receipt number/challan number.
Step 5: Confirmation Page: Once the candidate submits the application form, confirm all the details and submit the application form.

WBJEE JELET 2022 Admit Card
JELET 2022 admit card was released by the WBJEE Board online for all the aspirants on their official website on May 3, 2022. WBJEE JELET 2022 Exam Centres
JELET 2022 Exam will be conducted in 13 cities in the state of West Bengal. The candidates may choose up to 2 Exam Centre as their choice location for JELET 2022. Candidates must ensure that they should be present 1 hour before the prescribed timing for the verification process. Latecomers are not allowed to appear for the exam in any circumstance. WBJEE JELET 2022 Exam Pattern
WBJEE JELET 2022 will be conducted offline, i.e. Pen & Paper-based tests (PBT). The question paper will contain Multiple choice questions (MCQs). The question paper comprises 100 questions with a total of 120 marks. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer, and a 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
The time given to complete the examination will be 2 hours, i.e. 120 minutes, and the question paper will be in English. All questions have only one correct answer; more than one answer will be considered an incorrect answer, and -1/4 marks will be deducted for it. It is mandatory to attempt all the questions, and no marks will be awarded for unanswered questions.

The tie-breaking policy followed by the conducting authority when two or more candidates secure the same score is mentioned below.

- If the tie remains, then the candidates with fewer wrong answers in the Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials together will be considered.
- Candidates with fewer wrong answers in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Environmental Engineering, and Computer Application taken together will be considered.
- If the tie still exists, then the candidate with more right answers in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Environmental Engineering, and Computer Application taken together will be considered.
JELET 2022 Counselling
Candidates who have cleared the JELET 2022 are usually called for the JELET 2022 Counselling, which will take place after the results are declared. A separate notification regarding the counselling will be published on the official website regarding the counselling. The candidates must be present by themselves on the day of counselling; no other person is allowed to appear on behalf of the concerned person. The JELET 2022Counselling process can be extended to two rounds only and only if the seats remain vacant at the colleges. Candidates will have to submit the admission fee and fee of the current semester to avail of the admission within due time. If the candidate fails to do so, his or her admission will get cancelled. Also, the candidate will require to go under Document Verification, for which you must be prepared.
