WBJEE JELET exam pattern 2024 is prescribed by WBJEEB for both Engineering and Pharmacy papers. The exam will be conducted offline, as a pen and paper-based test (PBT).   • All questions will be of multiple choice with having four options.
  • Only one option will be correct out of the four.
  • The candidate will be awarded one mark for every right answer.
  • 1/4 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • No marks for unanswered questions.
  • If more than one response is marked in a single question, it will be treated as incorrect, and 0.25 marks will be deducted.
  • No special category of questions according to the subject or section.
Category II
  • All questions will be of multiple choice with having four options.
  • The candidate will be awarded two mark for every right answer.
  • For any answer having more than one options, if any wrong option is selected, it will considered as incorrect even if the other options are correct.
  • For partially correct answers, i.e., answers for which no incorrect options have been selected, the marks awarded will be based on the formula = 2 * (No of correct options marked / Total number of actual correct options).
  • 1/4 marks will be deducted for every double incorrect answer.
  • No marks for unanswered questions.

WBJEE JELET 2024 Mode of Answering 

During JELET 2024 exam, it is important for the candidates to read the instructions of filling up the optical machine-readable response (OMR) sheet carefully. The general instructions for the same are listed below.

  • Only one response should be answered for each question.
  • Use blue/black ball point pen only to mark the circles.
  • No other kind of markings will be considered as an answer. Do not fill the circles incompletely, cross mark, tick marks, use of pencils, dot mark, circular mark, over writing, circular mark, scratching, erasing, use on white inks etc.
  • Do not erase/change/edit the response already marked in OMR sheet.
