About BUMAT

BUMAT stands for "Bharati Vidyapeeth Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test". It is a national-level entrance test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be a University) for admission of students to undergraduate programs in BBA and BCA. The total number of seats available for the BBA program is 1020, and that for BCA is 570.

The Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, was established in 1964 by educationist and visionary Dr. Patangrao Kadam. After three decades of imparting knowledge, in 1996, the institution was awarded the Deemed University status by UGC. In 2013-14 BVP University celebrated the Golden Jubilee of serving the nation by building generations of responsible youth.

The Bharati Vidyapeeth's various institutions offer various courses across all professional disciplines like Agriculture, Ayurveda, Biotechnology, Dentistry, Medicine, Engineering, Environment Science, Homeopathy, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Management, Physical Education and so on.

BVP BUMAT 2023 is a national level entrance test held in many cities. This exam is restricted to being written only by Indian nationals. BUMAT is conducted twice every year after the declaration of class 10+2 results. The academic year starts to admit students in the BCA & BBA programs of the Bharati Vidyapeetham University. BUMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

For any exam, there are certain eligibility criteria for the candidates they have to meet to write the exam. These criteria change from exam to exam. The eligibility criteria are set by Bharati Vidyapeeth University, based on different courses. The BUMAT 2023 eligibility criteria for the exam are given below:

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Classes (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks for the general category and 40% marks for reserved category candidates from a recognized institution.

Final Year: The candidates appearing for their final examination are also eligible to appear for the BUMAT 2023, provided they produce the necessary documents to verify the same at the time of admission.

Age Limit: There were no age limits to attend the BUMAT 2023.

Nationality: The candidates who wish to appear for BUMAT must be a citizen of India.

BUMAT Application Form 2023

BUMAT application form was released on Jan 23, 2023, on the official website of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be a University). The BUMAT 2023 application form had to be filled with all required documents which the university allocated was Jun 8, 2023.

Registration Fee: Candidates had to pay a sum of INR 1200 as a BUMAT registration fee. The payment could only be made online, i.e., credit cards/ debit cards/ net banking.

BUMAT Application Process 2023

Candidates who are willing to appear for BUMAT 2023 have to register for the exam by visiting the official site. Before applying for the exam, the candidate should know whether they are eligible for this exam.  After all the details and documents required were collected, the candidate could go ahead with the application process.  Candidates can apply in both modes, i.e., online and offline. BUMAT 2023 Admit Card

BUMAT 2023 admit card was available online on the official website. The dates for the release was updated in this section. After the application form is filled out and submitted to the university, the candidates could download their admit cards.

The applicants have to check the admit card for any errors, and if any errors are present or the admit card is not available then contact the university. The BUMAT 2023 admit card have details such as name, the application number, exam centre, instructions, etc. Candidate must carry any one government ID proof such as Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport along with the admit card.

  • Step 3: The candidate will be directed to another window. Log in with application sequence number, DOB and captcha and click 'Submit'.

BUMAT 2023 Exam Centres

BUMAT 2023 is conducted in 58 major cities across India. Candidates should mention the centre code and name of their choice of test centre in the online application form. Candidates can choose any one exam centre. The candidates were not allowed to take any electronic gadgets and calculators. The candidates should have carried the admit card, and personal government id for verification. It is advised to the candidate to arrive at the exam centre 30 minutes before the given time. If a candidate entered the exam centre 30 minutes after the commencement of the exam, the candidate is not allowed to write or even enter the exam hall. Requests for a change of test centre and subject opted by the candidate in the application form will not consider under any circumstances.

BUMAT 2023 Exam Pattern

BUMAT 2023 is conducted twice every year to select students for BBA and BCA courses in 6 of the colleges under Bharati Vidyapeeth University. This exam is conducted to check the ability of the students. Based on the exam, a merit list is prepared according to the scores of the candidates. The BUMAT exam pattern is as follows:

BUMAT 2023 Mode of Examination 

The BUMAT 2023 exam will be held in two modes that are: 

1. Computer Centre Based Online Test (CBT) 

In CBT mode of examination, candidates will have to appear for the examination at a designated exam centre in the city preferred/provided or allotted.  

2. Remote Proctored Home-Based Online Test (RPHBT) 

In RPHBT mode of examination, candidates can appear for the BUMAT 2023 exam in online mode from their home provided candidates must have the minimum hardware and software requirement as described by the authorities.
