Eligibility Criteria for Gujarat PGCET 2019

Qualification
Completed B.E/B.Tech in their respective disciplines with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories).
Age
No restriction.
Exceptions
Qualified in GATE exam
Reservation
95% seats are reserved for Gujarat candidates.

Gujarat PGCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) to write Gujarat PGCET 2019 entrance exam. The detailed eligibility criteria is as discussed below:

Eligibility Criteria for Gujarat PGCET 2019:

  • Qualifications: Candidates must have passed B.E/B.Tech in their respective disciplines with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC candidates) in order to be eligible for Gujarat PGCET 2019 and Candidates must have passed their 10+2 and qualifying exam in the state of Gujarat to be eligible for Gujarat PGCET 2019.

  • GATE Qualified Candidates: The candidates who have qualified in GATE 2019 must also apply online and are excused from Gujarat PGCET 2019.

  • Domicile Reservation: 95% of the total seats are alloted to students who have passed their examination in the state of Gujarat. 5% of the seats are for those candidates who are not from Gujarat.

Any Life Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) can designate himself as a Chartered Engineer (C Engg). A special certificate specifying as Chartered Engineer ( C Eng ) can be obtained on payment of Rs. 7500/- only (for India/Nepal) and US$ 750 only (for other countries).
