Karnataka DCET 2023 Counselling Process
Provided below is the breakdown of the Karnataka DCET Counselling 2023 process.
- The conducting board (KEA) will provide candidates with a call letter for the counselling process.
- Candidates that have made the merit list will need to register themselves for the DCET counselling process.
- Candidates must carry their document verification on the assigned date and time.
- Candidates will be assigned seats according to their ranks.
- Applicants must then choose a college name and submit it to the DCET counselling centres.
- Applicants will get seat allotment letters for their respective seats.
- Candidates must report to the colleges with their allotment letters and make the admission fee payment.

DCET 2023 Seat Allotment
Candidates can go for either of the 4 options once the DCET 2023 seat allotment results will be published. This table discusses various options for DCET 2023 seat cancellation, allotment, acceptance, etc.

Candidates can accept the seat allotment and accordingly pay the admission fee. These candidates will no longer be eligible to sit for the following counselling rounds. |

Candidates that prefer a better allotment can sit for Round 2 The Round 1 seat allotment will not be canceled. If the candidate gets a better seat allotment in Round 2, then they can cancel the seat allotted in Round 1 and settle for the newly allotted seat in Round 2. Candidates must go ahead and pay the seat acceptance fee. |

Unsatisfied candidates can surrender their seat allotment and sit for Round 2. These candidates will not have a chance to go back and choose their seats allotted in Round 1. |
| Option 4 |
Candidates who want to surrender their seats and no more participate in any counselling rounds. |

Documents Required for DCET 2023 Counselling
Below are the documents required from candidates for the DCET counselling 2023 rounds.
- SSLC mark sheet/ 10th mark sheet/ Equivalent examination marks
- All 6 semesters of diploma or qualifying examination mark sheets
- Study certificate to prove that the candidate has attended school in Karnataka for not less than 7 years.
- Rural Study certificate in terms of candidates claiming they are part of the rural reservation.
Note: The study certificate must be issued by the Head of the Institution and also signed by the BEO/DDPI.
