AP ECET Qualifying Marks 2023

The AP ECET qualifying marks and passing marks have been given below.

• Candidates must obtain minimum qualifying marks in AP ECET 2023 to be eligible for the subsequent counselling session.
• The qualifying percentage marks for getting a rank in AP ECET are 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects (three subjects for B.Sc. Mathematics), i.e., 50 out of 200.
• In the case of SC/ST applicants, however, there would be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking. 
• The rank earned by any applicant claiming to be from the SC/ST category at AP ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)]-2023 will be invalidated if the claim is discovered to be invalid at the time of admission.

AP ECET Merit List 2023

The exam conducting authorities will release a merit list after announcing AP ECET 2023 results. AP ECET 2023 merit list includes the names of all candidates eligible to participate in AP ECET 2023 counselling. 

• The AP ECET 2023 merit list will be created and published on the official website.
• Candidates are ranked by state depending on their performance in the AP ECET. The authority will issue two merit lists.
• First Merit List: the Integrated Merit List, will indicate the candidates' Integrated Merit Rank. It is based on the AP ECET [FDH and B.Sc (Mathematics)] results.
• Second Merit List: Candidates are ranked in order of merit in each engineering stream/branch.

AP ECET 2023 Tie-Breaking Criteria

If two or more aspirants receive the same total score in the AP ECET, the following tie-break rules are used. The course-specific tie-breaking conditions are listed below.

1. Engineering:

• If the overall score is the same, the following priority sequence is used until the tie is broken.
• Scores in the Engineering Subject
• Mathematics grade point average
• Physics grade point average
• Candidates' ages (the elder candidate is ranked higher)

2. Pharmacy:

• If the overall score is the same, the following priority sequence is used until the tie is broken.
• marks obtained in the qualifying exam
• Candidates' ages (the elder candidate is ranked higher)

3. B.Sc (Mathematics):

• If the overall score is the same, the following priority sequence is used until the tie is broken.
• Mathematics grade point average
• Scores in the Qualifying Examination
• Candidates' ages (the elder candidate is ranked higher)
