Note: Candidates must note that they will be tested on different subjects based on the stream they chose and each paper consisted of 200 multiple-choice questions with no negative marking for wrong answers. 

AP ECET 2023 Exam Pattern for Engineering Stream

The exam pattern for the Engineering stream consisted of four sections and was conducted online. AP ECET Engineering exam pattern consists of 4 sections, which are as follows.

  • Section 1: Physics
  • Section 2: Chemistry 
  • Section 3: Mathematics
  • Section 4: Engineering (Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics & Communications/ Computer Science/ Chemical/Metallurgical/ Mining/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Ceramic Technology/ Biotechnology.

Note: Candidates must note that the first 3 sections will be familiar to all the students appearing for the AP ECET 2023 exam, whereas the fourth section varies based on the diploma degree they are holding. The exam will be held for 3 hours, i.e., 180 minutes online, and candidates must also keep in mind that the exam will be conducted only in English.

AP ECET 2023 Exam Pattern for Pharmacy Streams

The exam pattern is more or less the same as the Engineering exam, as it also consisted of 200 questions in four sections and no negative marking, for a duration of 180 minutes. The only area where the change is seen is the subjects the students will be tested on. They are as follows. 

  • Section 1: Pharmaceutics
  • Section 2: Pharmaceutical Chemistry
  • Section 3: Pharmacognosy
  • Section 4: Pharmacology

AP ECET 2023 Exam Pattern for B.Sc Mathematics Streams

AP ECET online exam pattern for B.Sc Mathematics will be slightly different from the other two exam patterns, as there were only three sections or subjects that the students will be tested on in this exam. But, the total marks and marking remain the same, i.e., 200 marks for 180 minutes. The sections that the candidates will be tested on are listed below.

Section 3: Communicative English

AP ECET Marking Scheme 2023

Candidates will expect to know the marking scheme for AP ECET 2023 examinations as it will help them know on what basis the marks will be awarded to them while taking up the exam. Some of the important points regarding the AP ECET marking scheme are listed below. 

  • For each question, four options will be provided and candidates must select the most appropriate option.
  • Each question carried 1 mark and there will be no negative marking in AP ECET 2023.
  • Candidates can score up to a total of 200 marks.

AP ECET 2023 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates are asked to follow certain rules and regulations before entering the AP ECET 2023 exam venue. Listed below are points to be kept in mind while reporting to the exam centre.

  • Candidates must arrive at the examination centre prior to the start of the exam.
