VSAT Counselling 2023: Dates, Registration, Seat Allotment

VSAT 2023 counselling will commence after the declaration of results. Students willing to secure admission into B.Tech./B.Sc(Hons) Agriculture/B. Pharmacy courses offered by Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India, can appear for the VSAT 2023 examination. Candidates who clear the VSAT examination are called for the next round of the admission process called the Counselling Round.

Note: Change of date/time of counselling is generally not permissible. If a candidate fails to appear personally for counselling on the date and time specified, he/she will forfeit his candidature for the allotment of the seat on that day. However, he/she is eligible to appear for subsequent counselling depending on the availability of seats.

VSAT 2023 Counselling Dates

Step-by-Step Guide for VSAT 2023 Counselling

Students who clear the VSAT examination will be called for the counselling round. The dates for the counselling round are yet to be announced by the university. Candidates appearing for this round will have to follow the steps specified by Vignan’s university admission committee. To know more about the counselling process, read the information given below.

• Step 1: Choose the campus and branch in which the candidate wishes to seek admission. 
• Step 2: Vignan’s University will allot the seats based on the availability of seats in colleges and choices submitted by the candidates. 
• Step 3: Candidates have to download the counselling letter from the official website. 
• Step 4: Report at the allotted centre at the scheduled time. Carrying the counselling letter is a must. 
• Step 5: Produce the original documents as specified by the admission authorities. 

Note: Unavailability of the candidate at the allotted centre and time will lead to disqualification. Candidates who fail to provide original documents will also be disqualified. 

Necessary Documents for VSAT 2023 Counselling

Selected candidates have to appear at the counselling venue on the given date and time. Candidates failing to present the below-mentioned documents will not be allowed to appear for the VSAT 2023 counselling round. 

• Counseling call letter.
• VSAT / JEE / EAMCET Admit card
• VSAT / JEE / EAMCET rank card.
• 10th class marksheet as a proof of date of birth.
• Marks sheet of qualifying examination.
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhar Card.

VSAT 2023 Counselling- Important points 

Students clearing the VSAT examination will be called for the counselling round. Candidates appearing for the VSAT 2023 counselling should keep note of the following important points.

1. The eligibility criteria of the candidate will be cross-verified. Along with this, other important information like age, marks sheet of qualifying examination,etc., will also be checked. Candidates passing this process will be allowed to sit for the counselling round and will be checked.
2. Seats will be offered on the basis of rank achieved by the candidate in the merit list. Seat allotment is also based on availability of seats. 

Submission of Documents on Admission 

As part of Vignan’s University’s admission process, candidates clearing the counselling round are granted admission to the university. For securing admission to the university, students have to submit the following documents. 

1. VSAT / JEE / EAMCET admit card.
2. VSAT / JEE / EAMCET rank card.
3. Provisional letter of admission offer.
4. Qualifying examination marks sheet.
5. 10th Class marksheet.
6. Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate.
7. Caste Certificate (if applicable).
8. Conduct Certificate.
9. Aadhar Card.

Note:  All the above-mentioned documents should be original. The original documents have to be handed over to the Office of Admissions on or before the date prescribed by the University, failing which provisional admission accorded will stand cancelled.
