TS PGECET Counselling 2024: Expected Dates, Procedure, Documents

TS PGECET counselling 2024 is conducted online by TSCHE. As per the schedule, TS PGECET counselling will tentatively start from Jun 2024. Candidates can exercise the web option from the official portal. 

TS PGECET exam-qualified students will be eligible to participate in the TS PGECET counselling. A separate counselling session will be held for successfully qualified TS PGECET admission and GATE aspirants. TS PGECET exam conducts the TS PGECET counselling process which consists of registration, payment of fees, choice filling,  document verification and seat allotment.

TS PGECET Counselling 2024 Dates

TS PGECET Counselling 2024 process will start after the declaration of the result. The TS PGECET Counselling Registration dates for the same will be released on the official web portal of TS PGECET 2024 Admissions. The TS PGECET counselling will be done online mode ON TS PGECET Counselling Dates 2024.

TS PGECET Counselling Procedure 2024

TS PGECET counselling centres will be released by Osmania University on the official web portal.  Post verification, candidates can then exercise web options which include choice filling i.e., selecting a preferred university and seat is to be done. Aspirants must check the TS PGECET Counselling 2024 procedure as mentioned below. 

There will be two rounds of counselling and an open round to fill vacant seats, as mentioned below.

Stage 1: Certificate Verification for TS PGECET 2024

TS PGECET counselling will begin with the certificate verification, and aspirants need to attend the session on the prescribed date and time. Counselling will be conducted based on aspirants ranking in the examination.

• Aspirants have to fulfil the registration requirements at the help centres allocated by the authorities.
• Test takers must reach the counselling location and submit their rank cards to the person sitting at the entrance gate.
• Aspirants will receive the registration form after paying the counselling fee.
• The aspirant must fill out details like admit card number and their ranking.
• After this, aspirants will be further called up for document verification.

Stage 2: TS PGECET Web Counselling 2024

Aspirants have to select their preferred college or institutions post the verification of certificates. Following are the steps to be followed by the aspirants for TS PGECET Web Counselling 2024

• Visit the TS PGECET counselling official website.
• Select the option of the “Admission Open” Link.
• After reading all the important guidelines, aspirants must click on the link “Exercise TS PGECET Web Options”.
• Enter the required information such as TS PGECET 2024 hall ticket number, GATE/GPAT exam score and ranking, Registered mail address, and contact number.
• Hit the “Submit“ button.
• Aspirants will be sent a new password to their mail ID from which they can log in successfully.

Step 1: Choice Filling

• Aspirants will now have to select their college preference, district, course, and college code.
• Filters will be provided based on the district and alphabetical order to ease the choice selection.
• Hit the ADD option and add your preferred college to the priority list.
• Click the Save button, enter the password and give your confirmation.
• Aspirants can see the list in the printed form and must download it for future reference.

Step 2: Freezing Option

• Test takers must fill in the choices before 12:00 AM as it will be closed after that.
• Candidates’ seats will get frozen on the last day automatically based on their registered choices.
• After this TS PGECET seat allotment will take place,

Step 3: Seat Allotment

• The seat will be allotted to aspirants based on the TS PGECET web counselling, and no further modifications will be entertained.
• Candidates should select their choices carefully as the final allotment depends on your selected options.
• Take the printout of the seat allotment letter and report to the assigned colleges for admission procedure. 

Documents Required for TS PGECET Counselling 2024

Counselling will be conducted separately for TS PGECET 2024 Courses like engineering, pharmacy, and technology streams. TS PGECET counselling certificates required for verification are stated below.

• GATE scorecard.
• TS PGECET Rank card.
• TS PGECET Admit card.
• Degree certificate & Memorandum of marks of Qualifying Examination
• Memo of SSC or its equivalent certificate
• Study certificates from 10th class to graduation
• Residence certificate for the preceding seven years of the qualifying examination for candidates who have completed their graduation through private study without any institutionalized education
• Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates.
• Residence certificate of father/mother for 10 years in Telangana/A.P. excluding the period of their employment outside Telangana/A.P. from MRO in case of candidates who studied outside the state of Telangana/A.P.
• Transfer certificate.
• Residence certificate from MRO for 10 years of either parent for non-locals.
• Aadhaar Card
• Minorities – Degree TC containing minority status.
• Income certificate issued by MRO after Jan 1, 2017.

TS PGECET 2024 Counselling Help Centres

Candidates are required to go through the certificate verification process. It will be done at various notified centres as per a defined schedule. To get admission, the candidate needs to score the minimum cutoff marks. The participating universities or institutes will set a standard TS PGECET Cut Off.
