BHU PET Important Dates 2023

Before filling out the application form, candidates are required to read the instructions carefully. They also have to make sure that they check the eligibility criteria before applying. Students who have completed their Degrees in the respective discipline are eligible to apply. The important dates regarding the application form are given below.

How to Apply for BHU PET 2023?

The aspirants who wish to apply for BHU PET will have to submit their application online mode. No other mode of application will be accepted. The application process involves filling up a series of details along with uploading the respective documents to the portal. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below.

• Step 1: Candidates need to register on the official website of BHU. This can be done by scrolling down and clicking on Registration of BHU PET 2023. This will redirect them to another page.
• Step 2: Once they are redirected to the registration page, candidates should click on New Registration, if they have not yet registered or fill in their credentials and click on sign in if they have registered.

• Step 3: Read the instructions carefully on the next page and click on continue. 
• Step 4: Now, the candidates are required to fill in all the information asked on the website like personal and educational details. They are also required to keep the documents ready which they are supposed to upload.
• Step 5: After uploading the documents, candidates have to pay the required fees and take the printout of the confirmation page. After that, download the pdf of the application form for future reference.

BHU PET Application Fee 2023

There is an application fee to be paid by the candidates. The application fee is to be paid ONLY through online mode. There are various options provided for the candidates through which they can pay the fee - Net banking, Debit Card, UPI, or Credit Card. The registration fee mentioned below does not include additional charges that the banks may levy. The application fee for the 2023 BHU PET is mentioned in the following table.

In case the candidates wish to apply for multiple courses, then they shall apply for them separately. The fees to apply for additional courses are mentioned as follows.

Documents to Upload for BHU PET Application Form 2023

While filling out the application form, candidates are required to upload a number of documents for BHU PET. It is advised that the candidates should keep ready the scanned copy of these documents which will save time and avoid any confusion. It is vital that the documents uploaded by the candidates should be genuine and free from any discrepancies. NTA or BHU will not entertain such discrepancies in the documents. The documents to be uploaded are mentioned below.

• Candidate’s Photograph
• Photographs should not be with caps or goggles. Photographs should cover 80% of the face (without a mask) visible including ears against a white background. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly.
• The candidate should scan his/her passport size photograph for uploading. File size must be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
• Candidate’s Signature
• The candidates are required to upload the full signature in running handwriting in the appropriate box given in the Online Application Form.
• File size must be between 04 kb to 30 kb.

Apart from these documents, no other documents needed to be uploaded to the portal. However, particulars like educational qualifications, Aadhaar Card, Valid ID Proof, Caste certificate, PwD certificate and other supporting documents need to be presented after the results are declared for counselling. 

BHU PET Application Form 2023 Guidelines

There are certain instructions that candidates need to adhere to while and after filling out the application form for the 2023 BHU PET. These instructions have been issued by NTA and BHU. Candidates need to keep the below-mentioned points while filling out the examination form to avoid any further problems.

• The candidates should fill in their complete postal address with a PIN Code for further correspondence.
• The candidate must ensure that the email address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are his/her own (which cannot be changed later) as communication would be sent by NTA through email or SMS.
• The online Application Form cannot be withdrawn once it is submitted successfully.
• Application Forms of candidates who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria shall be rejected.
• In case a candidate is found providing incorrect information or the identity is proved to be false at any time in the future, the candidate shall face penal action as per the law.
• The Aadhaar number is only one of the types of identification and is not mandatory. Candidates may also enter a Passport number, Ration Card number, Bank Account number or any other valid Government identity number.
• The Candidate should not give the postal address, Mobile Number or e-mail ID of the Coaching Centre in the Online Application Form.

Procedure for Correction Window for BHU PET 2023

In case the candidate needs to update or change a certain particular in their application form, NTA has opened a correction window for the candidates. It will be available for candidates within a given time. The process to change particulars is mentioned as follows.

• Step 1: Open the login portal of BHU NTA.
• Step 2: Enter credentials like your application number and password along with the security code. Click on sign in.
• Step 3: Click on Update/Correction of the application form.
• Step 4: Fill in all the details which the candidate needs to update. Candidates can update their Address, examination centre, Personal information and Educational details.
• Step 5: Click on save changes and final submission. Make sure your update is saved before printing the updated application form. 

How to Retrieve a Lost Password?

The candidates can retrieve their password in any of the following 3 ways:

• Using Security Question & the Answer you have chosen during Form filling.

• Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No.

• Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address.
