About APRDC 2023
The full form of APRDC CET is Andhra Pradesh Residential Degree College Common Entrance Test. APRDC was established in 1975 by Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions (APREI) to provide and deliver quality education for all talented students. The seats in degree colleges in the state are filled through APRDC CET 2023 examination. Andhra Pradesh Government is conducting this test with the idea of providing high-class education to underprivileged candidates at a very cheap fee.

APRDC CET age limit is not specified, however the candidates are required to have passed the intermediate in the preceding year.
APRDC CET 2023 Educational Qualifications
Candidates who have appeared in Senior Intermediate Exams are allowed to take APRDC CET 2023 exam. A 5% exemption is provided to the candidates from reserved communities such as OBC/SC/ST. Mentioned below is the minimum percentages required by a candidate.

For B.A, students from any stream or branch can apply for APRDC CET but they have to take the exam of History and Economics.
APRDC CET Educational Qualifications for B.Com
For B.Com, students of CEC or any other group are eligible. But they have to take APRDC CET entrance test in economics, Commerce-I , Commerce-II.

For B.Sc. in Maths, Statistics and Computer Science, aspiring students are required to write APRDC CET Entrance Exam in Maths and related subjects at the intermediate level.

APRDC CET 2023 Counselling
APRDC CET 2023 counselling is often conducted in two rounds. If a candidate does not get their desired college after round 1, they can still take part in round 2 of counselling but they will have to drop the college initially allotted to them.
The first round of APRDC CET 2023 counselling will be done on the basis of the first list of merit. A second round merit list is only published if there are vacant seats. The counselling process does not get extended more than two rounds. APRDC also has reservation criteria applicable in individual institutions. Candidates should check criteria of every institution before applying.
APRDC CET 2023 Tie-Breaking Criteria
There are four tie-breakers in APRDC Counselling process. The points are mentioned below in chronological order.

APRDC CET 2023 Seat Allotment
The number of seats varies for each course and colleges. Every college has a number of seats from 30 to 200+, depending upon their capacity and program. The seats are allotted on the basis of counselling which comprehends exemptions and benefits or reservation subjected to candidates from reserved communities.
APRDC seat alllottment is done for 3 different zones. These zones have districts divided into them. The ratio of seats per zone is 42:32:36. The universities under each zone are as follows.
