Sanskrit is a historical Indo-Aryan language and the primary liturgical language of Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. BA Hons. in Sanskrit is chiefly about the Sanskrit language and its literature. The Bachelor of Arts Sanskrit Hons subjects is divided into 4 major parts: Poetry, Literature, Grammar and History. Students can also choose from a variety of electives offered by the course.
