Counselling for MD/MS/MDS/House Job

Candidates who qualify for the written exam will have to go through personal counselling. To participate, the candidates will have to fulfil the cut off points set by the conducting authority. Candidates who are absent on the day of the counselling will not be considered.

Any candidate who does not get the subject of their choice in the first and second rounds of counselling can also attend the third and fourth rounds to get the preferred subject. Candidates will not have to pay any penalty fee.

The applicants must produce certain documents at the time of PGIMER counselling. The documents required for the counselling process are as follows.

PGIMER Counselling 2023 Process

The PGIMER Counselling 2023 process has various steps.

Choice Filling: The candidates must visit the official website and log in with their login credentials. They must choose the respective course and must 'Lock and Submit' the choices.

Seat Allotment: The PGIMER seat matrix for allotment will be according to the availability of the seats in the respective courses. The candidates will also be given seats based on their merit position. The seat allotment list will be released, and all the selected candidates will proceed to further rounds according to the PGIMER counselling result.

Reporting: The candidates must report to a particular venue at a given time. They must be present with all the original documents. The candidates must also pay the course fee of one year to confirm their admission. After that, they have to start their duties immediately.
