Eligibility Criteria for GATE Qualified Candidates	Candidates with a valid GATE score can apply for M.Tech admission at IIT Hyderabad.
	However, GATE qualifiers must have at least 60% of marks in B.Tech/ B.E to be considered for M.Tech admission at IIT Hyderabad.
Eligibility Criteria for Sponsored Candidates	Sponsored candidates will be considered for M.Tech admission only if they are sponsored by his/ her organization for a period of two years.
	In most cases, candidates aspiring for M.Tech admission at IIT Hyderabad under sponsored category must have 60% marks in B.E/ B.Tech.
	GATE score is not mandatory but is desirable for sponsored candidates.

Candidates who wish to apply for admission to IIT Hyderabad for M.Tech need to follow the given steps

• Candidates need to visit the official website of IIT Hyderabad.
• Secret the admissions tab and then select M.Tech
• This will take you to the admissions portal. Here candidates need to register themselves. 
• Once the registration process is complete, candidates will receive a confirmation email with the login details. Candidates will now be able to fill out the online application form.
• While filling out the online application form, ensure you enter all necessary details and information carefully and correctly. 
• Submit the application, take a printout and then proceed to pay the application fees. The application fee is INR 150 for females and candidates of reserved categories and INR 300 for the remaining candidates.
• The downloaded PDF of the application form and fee payment receipt is to be emailed by all the candidates to ‘mtech-iit-graduates@iith.ac.in’. specify the name of the engineering department in the subject of the email.
• Candidates also need to register themselves on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and fill in the choice of colleges and specializations.

• Candidates who have applied for admission to the courses and have cleared the GATE Cutoff will be eligible for admission and will be shortlisted by the institute.
