Candidates who wish to apply for admission to IIT Hyderabad for M.Tech need to follow the given steps
- Candidates need to visit the official website of IIT Hyderabad.
- Secret the admissions tab and then select M.Tech
- This will take you to the admissions portal. Here candidates need to register themselves.
- Once the registration process is complete, candidates will receive a confirmation email with the login details. Candidates will now be able to fill out the online application form.
- While filling out the online application form, ensure you enter all necessary details and information carefully and correctly.
- Submit the application, take a printout and then proceed to pay the application fees. The application fee is INR 150 for females and candidates of reserved categories and INR 300 for the remaining candidates.
- The downloaded PDF of the application form and fee payment receipt is to be emailed by all the candidates to ‘mtech-iit-graduates@iith.ac.in’. specify the name of the engineering department in the subject of the email.
- Candidates also need to register themselves on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and fill in the choice of colleges and specializations.

The admission process for the M.Tech courses of IIT Hyderabad, for candidates applying via GATE, is as follows:
- Candidates who have applied for admission to the courses and have cleared the GATE Cutoff will be eligible for admission and will be shortlisted by the institute.
- Shortlisted candidates will have to give an Interview and a Written Ability Test.
- The past academic record of the candidate will also be considered along with GATE scores.
