CUET Admission Process 2024: The CUET application correction process concludes on Apr 8, 2024. The CUET UG admission process began on Feb 28, 2024, and was concluded on Apr 5, 2024.

The admission process includes registering from the official website, filling out the CUET 2024 application form, uploading the required documents, paying the application fees, counselling and admission to the colleges.

CUET 2024 is scheduled to be held from May 15, 2024, to May 31, 2024. However, the final date sheet will be released on the basis of CUET 2024 registration data and election dates.

CUET Admission Process 2024: Highlights

The CUET examination is held to conduct the admission of candidates to the undergraduate courses in several central, state, and deemed universities from across the country. The CUET 2024 entrance examination will be held from May 15, 2024, to May 31, 2024.

CUET Admission Process 2024: Important Dates

Candidates must gear themselves up for the CUET 2024 exam that will be conducted from May 15 to May 31, 2024. Admission of candidates to UG courses will be initiated after the release of the CUET 2024 scorecard and the merit list by the participating universities in the CUET 2024 counselling process.

CUET Eligibility Criteria 2024

In order to apply for the CUET 2024 entrance examination, the candidates must fulfil the CUET eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority.

The eligibility criteria for CUET 2024 are listed below:

• There is no age limit for applying for the CUET entrance test.
• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• The candidate must have passed class 12 board examination from a central, state board or any other recognized board.
• For the General and OBC categories, the minimum passing mark in class 12 board examination is 50%, and the passing marks required for the other categories is 45%.

CUET Registration Process 2024

The CUET 2024 examination is already scheduled and the registration process will begin soon. The registration process for the CUET examination is conducted online. Admission to various universities accepting the CUET score will begin after the CUET result 2024 is released.

The application form will be released online by the conducting authority on its official website. Candidates can start filling in the application forms as soon as they are released.

Steps to Apply

The application form for the CUET exam, once released, can be filled following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CUET at cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Step 2: Provide your name, email address and mobile number to complete the CUET registration process.

Step 3: Fill out the application form with the details asked for.

Step 4: Upload scanned images of signatures and photographs.

Step 5: Pay the CUET application form fees.

Step 6: Download the confirmation page in case of future reference.

CUET Counselling Process 2024

The CUET admission is done through counselling. After the release of the cutoff, the counselling dates are issued by the NTA. The candidates must participate in the CUET counselling process with their scorecard for admission to any of the participating universities.

Counselling Merit List

The CUET Merit List 2024 will be released online after the results are declared on the official website. The merit list can be downloaded by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the desired university’s CUET counselling website.

Step 2: Go to the homepage and click on “CUET 2024 Merit List Link”.

Step 3: Links specific to subjects are provided. The desired link must be clicked.

Step 4: A PDF file containing a list of CUET scores and the names of candidates is displayed.

Counselling Procedure: Steps to Follow

The candidates taking the CUET 2024 test must understand the counselling process very well. The steps to followed are mentioned below:

Step 1: The universities participating in the CUET counselling process prepare their merit lists separately. This list is released on the CUET counselling website of the university.

Step 2: The registration for online counselling must be done on the official website by the candidates following the release of the merit list.

Step 3: The seat allotment for the candidates is done in keeping with the ranks obtained by the candidates in the CUET exam.

Step 4: The counselling process will be carried out online first and then there will be offline counselling as well.

Step 5: For confirming the allotment of seats, the candidates must make the payment of the admission fee amount.

Step 6: Online counselling fee must be paid for the online counselling.

Spot Admission

Following the completion of all the rounds of the counselling process of CUET, the notification for vacancy in the universities, if any, is released online. This round is also open for all such candidates whose name did not appear in any of the merit lists displayed by the universities. All such candidates must visit the spot for counselling.
