Gujarat Vidyapith was founded by Mahatma Gandhi on 18th October 1920. Gujarat Vidyapith is a deemed university since 1963. Gujarat Vidyapith Ahmedabad is funded by the UGC for higher education programs. It is accredited with a 'B++' Grade by NAAC. Gujarat Vidyapith accepts the CUET exams for admission to various undergraduate courses like B.Sc, B.Ed, BA, MCA, M.Sc, MCA, MSW, etc. Admission 2022-23 for various UG, PG & Doctoral courses is ongoing. CUET UG 2022 result is out now. Candidates seeking admission have to appear in CUET PG for admission. Additionally, the CUET PG 2022 exam concluded on September 11, 2022. 

Gujarat Vidyapith's education system includes regular participation in community work, residential life, social service, community prayers, simple and self-reliant living, study tours and field studies, Hand spinning, and training in Craft Work. The program of education has been linked with the national needs of rural uplift to promote education conducive to the grass - root levels of the society. Gujarat Vidhyapith Admission

Gujarat Vidhyapith has started the admission procedure for the year 2022-23. The university conducts CUET for admission in various UG and PG courses like BA, B.Sc, MCA, B.Ed, MBA, Ph.D., etc. The university considers both the scores, merit-based and entrance exam scores for admission in relevant courses.

Gujarat Vidhyapith Eligibility Criteria

Gujarat Vidhyapith Ahmedabad has set different criteria for admission in different courses. The students need to meet that criterion to get admission to the university. The basic criteria for some courses are as follows

B.A Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have scored at least 50% marks or equivalent in 10+2 from a recognized board, and up to 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
• Candidate should have a valid score in CUET UG. 

M.A Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have completed their bachelor’s degree studied in a 10+2+3 system in any discipline with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate from a recognized University.
• Candidate should have a valid score in CUET PG. 

M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have completed B.Sc. in zoology studied in a 10+2+3 system with botany and chemistry, biochemistry as subsidiary subjects, or any subject under life sciences with zoology as a major or core subject.
