Yashad Sumedha Scholarship

Yashad Sumedha scholarship is a scholarship program started by Yashad-Sumedha in partnership with Hindustan Zinc Limited, Udaipur, for B.Tech students only. Interested candidates can apply for the scholarship and get more insight from the information provided. Students must apply online and submit the hard copy of the same by 25th December at the respective address.

Note: Yashad Sumedha scholarship application for 2023 still needs to be updated. However, the expected date for 2023 will be declared soon.

Eligibility Criteria

Students should read the Yashad Sumedha scholarship eligibility criteria very carefully and then apply for the scholarship. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are described in the following points.

• B.Tech students studying in a government college in their 1st semester can apply.
• Students must secure atleast 75% marks in the senior secondary level of education.
• Preference is given to BPL students, orphans, single parent-child, and girls.
• Applicants must reside in Udaipur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, and Ajmer.
• The annual family income of the candidate should be less than INR 2,50,000.

Rewards

Students selected under Yashad Sumedha scholarship would receive INR 40,000 yearly as a scholarship amount if they can secure first division every year in their course of study.

How to Apply?

Students must first fill out the Yashad Sumedha scholarship application form online and submit it through the post at the desired address. The following steps define the procedure to apply for this scholarship.

Step 1: Visit the official web portal of the scholarship.

Step 2: Now click on the apply now button to register yourself first.

Step 3: Go through the instructions given on the official Yashad Sumedha scholarship page carefully.

Step 4: Now log in to the website. 

Step 5: The application form will now appear on the screen. 

Step 6: Fill in the required details carefully in the form.

Step 7: Upload all the necessary documents.

Step 8: Take a physical copy of the online application form and get it attested by the college. Attach all copies of the documents and submit them to the desired address.

Documents Required

Candidates should submit authentic documents in JPEG and JPG format online. The scanned copy size of a passport-size photograph should be upto 200 KB. Candidates also need to submit a physical copy of these to the desired address provided by them. A list of required Yashad Sumedha scholarship documents is listed below.

• A self-attested copy of the 10th mark sheet
• A self-attested copy of the 12th mark sheet
• Photos of the applicant (5)
• Copy of pension’s payment order (if applicable)
• Income certificate
• Death certificate, if applicable

• Bank passbook copy
• Fee receipt copy
