Urdu scholarship 2023 is conducted by the Minority Welfare Department of Kerala. This scholarship gives opportunities to minority category students who require financial help to pursue their further studies. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying for the Urdu academy scholarship must read the eligibility criteria below. The applicants must satisfy the Urdu scholarship eligibility criteria for applying for the scholarship scheme.
- Candidates must be permanently residing in Kerala.
- Candidates must have Urdu as a subject in government/self financing schools of Kerala.
- Candidates enrolled for SSLC and HSC/VHSE should have the previous year's mark sheet.
- Candidates' family annual income should not be more than the prescribed figure set by the department.
Rewards
The Urdu scholarship amount is directly designated to the students' bank accounts. Students are given varying amounts as per the scholarship's demand and need.
How to Apply for Urdu Scholarship?
Students of Kerala can apply for thE Urdu scholarship online by visiting their official Urdu scholarship portal. Applicants may follow the below-prescribed steps if they want to apply for this scholarship. The following points describe the procedure for applying for the Urdu scholarship.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Department of Minority Welfare.
Step 2: A list of scholarships will be displayed on the homepage; candidates have to find the Urdu scholarship from the list.
Step 3: Click on Urdu scholarship and then click on apply online option.
Step 4: The new tab, which has the Urdu scholarship application form, will open.
Step 5: Fill in all the required details and upload all the mandatory documents.
Step 6: Click on submit button to submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
