The Bhumi Fellowship is an enterprise of Bhumi. Run by an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization), it promotes a specific cause. The fellowship is a two-year non-residential program for blooming graduates committed to improving the quality of education. The Bhumi fellowship will offer the candidates a monthly pay of INR 35,000 plus HRA. The last date to apply for the fellowship is September 30th, 2021.

Eligibility Criteria 

The fellowship is a great opportunity for candidates passionate about reconstructing the education system. They will get an opportunity for various teaching and capacity-building activities at schools located in and around Chennai. The eligibility criteria of the Bhumi fellowship are as follows:

  • The candidate must be a final-year student or a graduate.  
  • They must be between 20 and 30 years. 
  • The candidates must be passionate about transforming the education system. 
  • They must be willing to commit to a two-year full-time fellowship. 
  • They must have past volunteering or work experience in a relevant field.


The organization will offer the affected students a monthly pay of INR 35,000 and HRA. Additionally, the organization reimburses the program-related expenses such as travel, phone, and stationery as per the policy.
