Tata Steel Millennium Scholarship

Tata Steel Limited Jamshedpur has launched the Tata Steel Millennium scholarships for the financial convenience of students closely related to the employees working at various levels like workers, supervisors, officers etc. The eligible students will get variable financial awards upto INR 50,000 to pursue any professional or technical degree courses like BE/ BTech/ MTech/ MBBS.  

Note: Tata Steel Millennium scholarship application for 2023 still needs to be updated. However, the expected date for 2023 will be declared soon.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who wish to obtain benefits from the Tata Steel millennium scholarships must qualify for the criteria laid down by the authorities. The eligibility criteria for Tata Steel millennium scholarships include the following pointers.

• Students in close relation like children or spouses of existing workers, supervisors and officers at Tata Steel Limited.
• Candidates belonging to the families of superannuated workers, supervisors and officers of the company, including those who come under ESS/ MSS/ EFBS/ FBS/ FSS.
• Close relatives of workers, supervisors and officers of Tata Steel Limited who were transferred to the roles of JUSCO.
• Sons or daughters or spouses of employees of Tata Steel Limited who have secured admissions in full time or regular medical, engineering and professional courses.

Rewards

Tata Steel Millennium scholarships offer multiple financial rewards for those working for Tata Steel Limited. They are categorised into the following two categories.

Category A: Under this category, the students must take admission through a joint entrance exam for B.Tech/ BE/ M.Tech/ MBBS. There are a total of 120 scholarships under this category. INR 50,000 per annum are awarded to eligible students.

Category B: This category offers 240 scholarships which are awarded to boys and girls of the employees who have availed Sunehere Bhavishya Ke Yojana by Tata Steel Ltd. INR 24,000 per annum will be awarded to the students who have secured admission in professional or technical degrees from BITS Pilani/ BITS Mesra or five years integrated degree course in Law.

How to Apply for Tata Steel Millennium Scholarships?

To apply for Tata Steel millennium scholarships, the eligible candidates can follow the steps provided below.

Step 1: Candidates should visit the application page on the official website of the Tata Steel millennium scholarship portal.

Step 2: The students must register their details into the portal for new users. 

Step 3: After obtaining the login credentials, the applicants must successfully login into the portal.

Step 4: Next, they should fill in all the details required in the Tata Steel millennium online application form.

Step 5: Then, they can submit the application form with valid documents and complete the application process.

Step 6: Lastly, the candidate can take a printout of the filled application form and submit the same along with a copy of all relevant valid documents in the office of the employment bureau within the deadline.

Documents Required 

There are specific relevant documents to be submitted and the application form for Tata Steel millennium scholarships. A list of vital documents is provided below.

• Copy of original mark sheets of the last exam.
• Passport size photograph
• Copy of receipt of tuition fees
• Service certificate in case of ESS/ MSS/ EFBS/ FBS/ FSS
• Copy of bank passbook
