The SSO scholarship is an initiative of the Government of Rajasthan and its subsidiary departments to provide financial aid to underprivileged meritorious students who are domicile of the state to pursue their higher education. The students can benefit from various post-matric schemes under the Rajasthan Single Sign On (SSO) scholarship to pursue further education in the state that has over 9 universities, 250 colleges, 55000 primary schools, 7400 secondary schools, and over 40 engineering colleges. The last date mentioned is tentative and is subject to change.

SSO Scholarship Program Types

The different scholarship schemes offered under the SSO Rajasthan scholarship are listed below:

  • Post-matric and CM Scholarship, Rajasthan
  • Dr. Ambedkar Post-matric Scholarship for EBC Students, Rajasthan
  • Post-matric Scholarship for SBC Students, Rajasthan
  • Ambedkar International Scholarship Scheme for SC Students, Rajasthan
  • Ambedkar Fellowship Scheme for SC Students, Rajasthan
  • Chief Minister’s Higher Education Scholarship Scheme, Rajasthan
  • Rajasthan Yuva Vikas Prerak Internship Program (RYVP)

SSO Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The SSO scholarships are provided to economically weak students belonging to the Rajasthan state. The other eligibility criteria for the different schemes under the SSO scholarship are given below:

Post-matric and CM Scholarship, Rajasthan
  • Applicants belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ SBC/ EBC/ DNT category are eligible to apply.
  • The students should be studying in Class 11/ Class 12 in a recognized school.
  • The annual family income of the SC/ ST/ SBC applicant should not exceed INR 2,50,000 from all sources.
  • The annual family income of the OBC/ EBC candidate should not exceed INR 1,00,000 from all sources.
  • The annual family income of the DNT applicant should not exceed INR 2,00,000.
  • The annual family income of the students studying in Nationalised institutions should not exceed INR 5,00,000.

Dr. Ambedkar Post-matric Scholarship for EBC Students, Rajasthan
  • General category students belonging to the EBC category are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • The annual family income of the candidate should not exceed INR 1,00,000.
  • The students pursuing education from Class 11- PG level can apply for the scholarship.

Post-matric Scholarship for SBC Students, Rajasthan
  • Students belonging to the SBC category and pursuing education from the Class 11- PG level are eligible to apply.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 1,08,000.
  • Candidates pursuing education through distance learning/ correspondence can apply for the scholarship.

4.

Ambedkar International Scholarship Scheme for SC Students, Rajasthan
  • Applicants should belong to SC category and should be less than 35 years of age.
  • He/ she should have completed the postgraduate course with at least 55% marks from a recognized institute/ university.
  • The candidate should be enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Social Science/ Public Administration/ Law/ Economics/ Political Science/ Anthropology at any overseas university.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 6,00,000.

5.

Ambedkar Fellowship Scheme for SC Students, Rajasthan
  • Applicants should belong to SC category and should be less than 35 years of age.
  • He/ she should have completed the postgraduate course with at least 55% marks from a recognized institute/ university.
  • The candidate should be enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Social Science/ Public Administration/ Law/ Economics/ Political Science/ Anthropology at any recognized university in India.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 2,50,000.

6.

Chief Minister’s Higher Education Scholarship Scheme, Rajasthan
  • The candidate should have completed Class 12 with at least 60% marks.
  • He/ she should be included in the merit list of top 1 lakh students.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 2,50,000.
  • The candidate should be holding a bank account at a Nationalized bank.

7.

Rajasthan Yuva Vikas Prerak Internship Program (RYVP)
  • The student should be in the age group of 18-35.
  • The applicant should be a graduate in Engineering/ Medical/ Law/ Agriculture or a postgraduate in any field.
  • Candidates pursuing a doctoral degree can apply for the scholarship. 
  • The student should have good command over MS Office and should have good communication and presentation skills.

SSO Scholarship Rewards and Benefits

The scholarship covers maintenance allowance, study tour cost, book allowance, etc of the deserving underprivileged students. Other SSO scholarship benefits are given below:

  • Financial support of up to INR 25,00,000 per annum.

5.

Ambedkar Fellowship Scheme for SC Students, Rajasthan
  • Fellowship amount of INR 15,000 per month.

6.

Chief Minister’s Higher Education Scholarship Scheme, Rajasthan
  • Scholarship amount of INR 5,000 per annum

7.

Rajasthan Yuva Vikas Prerak Internship Program (RYVP)
  • Stipend amount of INR 25,000 per month.
  • Communication allowance of INR 2,500 per month.

SSO Scholarship Application Process

The SSO scholarship application form is accessed and submitted online. The step by step scholarship application process is given below:

  • Interested applicants should visit the Rajasthan SSO Scholarship Portal.
  • First-time users should click on the ‘Registration’ tab on the dashboard for initiating the registration process.
  • The candidate should register by entering details such as Full Name, Mobile Number, Valid Email ID, password, etc. 
  • After successful registration, an ‘Account Activation Link’ is sent to the registered email ID.
  • The student should click on the activation link to complete the registration process.
  • The applicant should then log in to the SSO scholarship portal by entering the new login ID and password.
  • The SSO scholarship application is accessed, and the candidate should fill in all the required details and upload all the supporting documents along with the application.
  • Finally, the applicant should click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the scholarship application process.
  • A print out of the submitted application should be taken for future reference.

SSO Scholarship Status Check

The SSO scholarship application form is submitted online. The candidates can track the status of their application through the scholarship portal. The step-wise procedure to check the application status is given below:

  • The candidate should click on the SSO Scholarship Status page. 
  • He/ she should enter the scholarship application number and captcha displayed on the screen and click on the ‘Get Status’ button.
  • The status of the scholarship application is displayed on the screen.

SSO Scholarship Documents Required

The necessary documents to be uploaded along with the SSO scholarship application form are:

  • Caste certificate
  • Aadhar card copy
  • Original Residence certificate
  • Income certificate
  • Fee receipt
  • Mark sheet of the last qualifying examination
  • Bank account details
