The NSP Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/ Cine/ IOMC/ LSDM Workers is a scholarship program for class 1 to 10 students. The program gives financial assistance to the children of laborers to get higher education from class 1 to 10 in the academic year. The amount of scholarship is approved from INR 250 to 15,000 for the children of Wards of Beedi/ Cine/ IOMC/ LSDM Workers. The program aims to ensure that no child is working in any hazardous sector as laborers. The last date of the application is will be updated soon

Note: Pre-Matric Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/ Cine/ IOMC/ LSDM Workers application for 2023 still needs to be updated. However, the expected date for 2023 will be declared soon.

Eligibility Criteria 

The applicants must ensure the following requirements are fulfilled before applying for the NSP Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/ Cine/ IOMC/ LSDM Workers. Listed below are the eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship scheme.

  • The candidates must be in classes 1 to 10 at a government or government-recognized school.
  • The parents of the candidates should be working as Beedi workers, Iron Ore, Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestones & Dolomite Mines (LSDM), OR Cine workers for at least six months. 
  • The monthly income of the applicant's family must not exceed INR 10,000 from all the sources except in the case of Cine workers, where the family income should not be more than INR 8,000 per month or INR 1,00,000 per annum.
  • The scholarship is provided to students up to the age of 25 years for primary and higher education. 
  • The candidate must be a regular from a recognized school. 
  • The candidates must have passed the last examination on the first attempt. 

Note: The students pursuing studies through correspondence are not eligible for the scholarship 

Rewards  

The organization will offer the affected students several scholatrship benefits. Here are the benefits of the NSP Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/ Cine/ IOMC/ LSDM Workers.

  • Girls and boys of class 1 to 5 will receive INR 250 for purchasing books, school dresses, etc.
  • Girls studying in classes 5 to 8 will receive INR 940.
  • Boys studying in classes 5 to 8 will receive INR 500.
  • Girls studying in class 9 will receive INR 1,140
  • Boys studying in class 9 will receive INR 700.
  • Girls studying in class 10 will receive INR 1,840.
  • Boys studying in class 10 will receive INR 1,400.

How to Apply?

The candidates can apply online for the NSP Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/ Cine/ IOMC/ LSDM Workers. Candidates applying for the first time should register themselves before the application process. They can apply for the post by using the step given below.

Step 1- The candidates must visit the official website.

Step 2- Click the apply now button below and carefully read all the details. 

Step 3- Select the Undertaking, and click on the continue button. 

Step 4- Select the domicile, Scholarship category, scheme type, and gender, and write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc.

Step 5- Provide the applicant's bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number).

Step 6- Select your Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification details and click on the register now button below. 

Step 7- The mobile number will be verified, and an OTP will be generated. 

Step 8- The applicant should log in using the OTP and fill out the form carefully.

Step 9- The application ID and password will be generated. Insert the ID and Password carefully.

Step 10- Fill in all the information carefully.

Step 11- Check if all the details filled in by the applicant are correct. If yes, click on the submit button to complete the application process.

  • If the candidate is receiving a scholarship from any other source, then this scholarship will not be granted to the students. 
  • From one family, more than one child is applying for the scholarship; both children must have a separate bank account and mobile number. 
  • If the candidates have a joint bank account, then the first name should be of the applicant.
