Orange Tulip Scholarship

The Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS) invites Indian students to study in the Netherlands. Several Netherland academic institutions, in coordination with Nuffic Neso India, provide the orange tulip scholarship programme. The selected students will receive up to a 100% waiver on their tuition fee. In addition, students applying to the orange tulip scholarship 2023 will get an opportunity to choose from varied courses offered in Netherland universities. 

The orange tulip scholarship programme organises events like pre-departure briefings and studies in holland fairs to prepare them for the scholars to live in the Netherlands. They also have an NL alumni network consisting of international alumni, interns, students, Dutch academic institutions, organisations and embassies. The scholars can share information and make contacts through the alumni network.The last date to apply for the Orange Tulip scholarship's study programs is generally April 1st, 2023.

Overview 

Students aspiring to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral degrees in the Netherlands can apply to the orange tulip scholarship programme. The organisers select around 50 scholars every year for the orange tulip scholarship programme. The selection panel will choose the applicants based on their academic performance and work experience. The deadline for the orange tulip scholarship varies for each university. 

Orange Tulip Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 

The orange tulip scholarship programme is available to Indian nationalities who are not employed or studying in the Netherlands. However, the requirements may differ for each university. The details of the orange tulip scholarship eligibility criteria are as follows: 

• The candidates should be Indian
• They should neither be working nor studying in the Netherlands.
• The candidates should have obtained admission or should currently be obtaining admission in any of the participating institutions in the Netherlands.
• They should not be receiving any international scholarships in the Netherlands.
• They should also meet other specific qualifications mentioned in the orange tulip scholarship 2021 programme. 

Orange Tulip Scholarship Rewards 

The orange tulip scholarship programme is exclusively available to Indian students who want to pursue higher studies in the Netherlands. The providers will waive up to 100% of the scholars' tuition fees. However, the fee waiver will vary for different universities. The candidates can receive the orange tulip scholarship rewards for one year.

Orange Tulip Scholarship Application Procedure 

Interested candidates should ensure they fulfil all the requirements before applying for the orange tulip scholarship programme. Then, they can apply online by filling out an application form and mailing it to the organisers. Given below is the orange tulip scholarship application procedure: 

Step 1: The candidates should visit the official Neso India website.

Step 2: They should click on the Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS) link.

 

Step 3: The candidates will be directed to the orange tulip scholarship webpage.

Step 4: Next, they should click on the apply for OTS India button available at the bottom of the page. 

 

Step 5: On the next page, they should click on the OTS India application form.

Step 6: Once they click on the link, applicants will receive the orange tulip scholarship India application form in Word format.

Step 6: They must duly fill in the details and ensure there are no errors.

Step 7: Lastly, the candidates must email the OTS application form to ots@nesoindia.org. 

Instructions for Orange Tulip Scholarship Application Procedure

The decisions made by Nuffic Neso India regarding the orange tulip scholarship programme are final and binding. The terms and conditions of the scholarship are as follows: 

• The applicants should attach the orange tulip scholarship documents in the email while applying for the orange tulip scholarship programme. The size of the total attachment should not exceed 20 MB.
• The organisers have the right to reject incomplete applications.
• The orange tulip scholarship application form should be in Word or PDF
• The applicants should name each document file in English. The format of the name is [document] - [name of the candidate].

• The email's subject should appear in the following format: OTS 203-2024 Application - [scheme] - [your name].

Orange Tulip Scholarship Selection Procedure 

The selection for the Orange Tulip Scholarship involves a rigorous process. The management primarily selects the candidates based on their academic merit and work experience. The orange tulip scholarship selection procedure are as follows: 

Stage 1: Neso India will scrutinise the applications and select the candidates based on the orange tulip scholarship eligibility criteria. The officials will move only the completed applications to the university.

Stage 2: In the next stage, the benefactors will evaluate the whole process, including the orange tulip scholarship registration and selection.

Stage 3: Each benefactor will share the list of selected scholars to Neso India or directly intimate the successful student. The selected candidates who receive the orange tulip scholarship should accept the offer and send it to Neso India within a limited time.

Stage 4: The OTS sponsors will discuss the Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS) agreement with the scholars.
