Norka Roots scholarship 2024 is a scholarship scheme aiming to provide financial support to NRK students in the ECR category. This scholarship is mainly applicable to the universities of Kerala. The meritorious candidates who belong to Kerala and aspire to continue their higher education are given the required monetary support to complete their education.
Students must secure 75% marks in their class 12th examinations to be eligible for the Norka Roots scholarship and get rewards of up to INR 25,000. The Norka scholarship 2024 last date is December 31, 2024 (tentative).

Norka Roots Eligibility Criteria 2023-24
Applicants must satisfy the Norka Roots scholarship eligibility criteria below to apply for the Norka Roots directors scholarship. The candidates can carefully read all the steps below before initiating the application process.
- Students of NRKs who have worked as unskilled labourers abroad and belong to the ECR category can apply for the Norka Roots scholarship.
- Migrants whose annual income is less than INR 1,50,000 can apply for this scholarship.
- Postgraduate students must score at least 75% in the field of science and at least 60% in the area of arts.
- Professional course candidates must score at least 75% in their class 12th examinations.
Norka Roots Scholarship Rewards
Under the Norka Roots scholarship scheme, students receive varying Norka Roots scholarship amounts depending upon the course they are currently pursuing. The following table describes the rewards given to all the selected students.
