NIT Tiruchirappalli Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE) junior research fellowship is an opportunity provided by the NIT Tiruchirappalli. It offers a research program to the Graduate and Postgraduate degree holders. The selected fellows will have to work on a project entitled ‘Sustainable Energy System for Achieving Novel Carbon Neutral Energy Communities (Sustenance)’.They will be rewarded with INR 31,000 per month along with 16% HRA. Permanent residents of India can avail all the services of this fellowship.

Note: NIT Tiruchirappalli Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE) Junior Research Fellowship application for 2023 still needs to be updated. However, the expected date for 2023 will be declared soon.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should make sure that they are fulfilling all the requirements. The eligibility criteria for the NIT Tiruchirappalli Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE) junior research fellowship are as follows:

  • A candidate will be eligible if the age is not exceeding 30 years.
  • They must hold B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical/CSE with M.E/M.tech degree in Power Electronics/Power Systems/CSE.
  • They must have cleared their UG/PG with at least 70% or equivalent CGPA from a well-known university.
  • They must have cleared the GATE examination with an outstanding score.

Rewards  

The selected fellows of the NIT Tiruchirappalli Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE) junior research fellowship will be rewarded with INR 31,000. Additionally, 16% HRA will also be alloted to the fellows. They will also get an opportunity to work under a project entitled as ‘Sustainable Energy System for Achieving Novel Carbon Neutral Energy Communities (Sustenance)’.
