Institute of Social Economics and Change (ISEC) in Bengaluru has introduced Post-Doctoral Research Programme (PDRP). It aims to offer research opportunities to the PhD degree holders. The fellowship is applicable for a minimum of 5 years, and the candidates will recieve a certificate after completing the programme. The candidates can apply for this program tentatively before July 31st every year. 

Note: ISEC Bangalore Post-Doctoral Research Programme (PDRP) application for 2023 still needs to be updated. However, the expected date for 2023 will be declared soon.

Eligibility Criteria

All candidates must ensure that they fulfil the requirements. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • The scholars must hold a PhD degree for at least 10 years.
  • Two publications of journals (national/international.

Rewards

The selection process of the Post Doctoral Research Programme (PDRP) 2023 is unchallenging. The candidates will be hand-picked based on their performance in the interview. The selected PhD holders with experience of at least 10 years will be rewarded with the certificate. Therefore, they will get a certificate of completion at the end of the PDR programme. 

How to Apply? 

The applicants can apply online for the Post Doctoral Research Programme (PDRP). Those applying for the first time should register themselves before starting the application process. The steps to apply are as follows:

Step 1: The candidates should go to the Institute of Social and Economic Change (ISEC).

Step 2: The applicants should download the application form and fill in all the questions.

Step 3: They should send the form along with the required documents to the following address:

Documents Required

The candidates should upload the necessary documents while applying to the ISEC Bangalore Post-Doctoral Research Programme (PDRP). Given below are the essential documents for the application:

  • Refurbished CV of the applicant
  • Copy of research proposal
  • Demand draft of INR 1,000

Terms and Conditions

The candidates should follow the terms and conditions to participate in the PDRP programme. The terms and conditions are as follows:

  • The selected scholars have to pay the allied money of INR 10,000 per year (for Indian students) and INR 20,000 per year (for international students) from the date of amalgamation.
  • Only the candidates who have experience of at least 10 years can apply for this programme. And the person should have published at least two journals (national/international).
  • The applicants should send a proper proposal of at least 1500 words to the Registrar.
  • The PDRP shall be 6 months or more. Depending upon this period, the time can be extended considering the external evaluation of the performance.
