The IIM Ahmedabad research associateship (SWE) offers a research project to candidates with a MA, MBA or PhD degree. The selected associates will receive an amount based on their academic qualifications and prior work experience every month. The candidates are initially appointed for six months. The candidates should hold an MA, MBA or PhD degree from a recognised institution. They should possess the required skill sets and have a thorough understanding of the project. Listed below are the details of the eligibility criteria for IIM Ahmedabad research associateship (SWE):
- The candidates should hold an MA, MBA or PhD degree in management, engineering, information science, computer science, mathematics or any other disciplines relating to social and economics.
- They should have excellent knowledge of Stata and SPSS.
- They should be skilled in data analysis, data scraping, searching and creating large datasets and running a panel with data models.
- The applicants should be aware of the scientific process.
- They should be confident in writing literature reviews after reading the research papers, writing academic publications and case studies.
Rewards of IIM Ahmedabad Research Associateship (SWE)
The selected candidate will get an opportunity to participate in a research project on the crucial issues relating to women leaders and women representing on board. It is a temporary position, and the candidate will be called a research associate. The other benefits are as follows:
- The associate will also receive a monthly salary.
- They will have access to the institute's library and computer centre.
- Note: However, the selected candidate should find their accomodation outside the IIMA campus.

- The candidates should be willing to work on the IIMA campus. However, the management will make an exception considering the current pandemic situation.
