Eligibility Criteria

The Odisha state government has launched the Fakir Mohan scholarship to promote the Odia language in higher studies. Under this scholarship scheme, the students who have scored an exceptionally high percentage in Odia language in higher secondary or degree level can benefit from this scholarship. The Fakir Mohan scholarship eligibility criteria is listed as underneath.

• The applicant must hold a U.G. degree with a minimum of 60% score in the class 12 board examination.
• The applicant should hold a P.G. degree with a minimum of 60% marks in Odia (Honours).
• The candidate should be enrolled in any renowned educational institution, state university, or autonomous degree in Odisha.

Rewards

There are variable benefits under the Fakir Mohan scholarship as per the candidate's eligibility. A maximum one-time disbursement of INR 20,000 is granted to the selected scholar as the Fakir Mohan scholarship amount.
